The Inferno 3 is the fourteenth season of Real World/Road Rules Challenge and the third of the Inferno series. The teams are in the format of The Inferno II, "Good Guys" versus "Bad Asses". Contrary to the last Inferno shows, the Lifesaver competitions have been limited to gender only winners, as for the male Inferno days, only males will be able to win it and vice versa. Filming took place in Cape Town, South Africa. The season premiered on Tuesday April 10, 2007 on MTV.
There were $400,000 in prizes.

20 Alums from past seasons of The Real World, Road Rules, and Fresh Meat Challenge spend time catching up while they head towards the next challenge: The Inferno 3.
The cast finally arrives at the set for the latest Inferno and immediately begins to wonder what they are in store for.
Shortly after the cast arrives, former Challenge host TJ Lavin arrives to announce that like previous Infernos, all contestants will become a member of one of two teams: The Good Guys or The Bad Asses.
Paula Walnuts, Alton, and Timmy are an example of some of the cast members who will make up The Good Guys team.
CT and Timmy are taken aback when they tour the house they will be staying in during The Challenge.
During the first dinner together, CT toasts to everyone on both teams, his toast is subsequently followed by Davis, who toasts to making friends he can remember, on nights he can forget.
It doesn't take long for Davis to fall in with some of the older alum in the house.
Later in the evening, things begin to spinout of control when CT and Kenny begin to wrestle in order to prove who is more macho.
After CT gets a bloody nose from wrestling Kenny; he confronts Davis in the hallway and sucker punches him.
CT is sent home the next day for striking Davis, shortly after the cast welcomes Challenge veteran Derrick with open arms.
The following day both teams are presented with their first challenge, where they must untangle each other out of a giant knot hoisted thirty-feet in the air above water.
During the challenge, Colie and Davis get the entire Good Guys team disqualified when accidentally release themselves from their harnesses before their team is untangled. _____________________________________________________

Notes: Even though Alton won the life save he volunteered to go in the Inferno taking Davis' spot.
The Bad Asses celebrate their first victory after The Good Guys are disqualified.
Later on after deliberation, Alton and Davis are picked by the members of their opposing teams to head into The Inferno.
During the second challenge before the first inferno, cast members have to make their way through an obstacle course using ladders to ascend up levels and across paths.
Abe is pumped when he finishes in first place and is awarded immunity from The Inferno.
Alton is all smiles when he surprises everyone by opting to take Davis' place in The Inferno.
Abe has a surprise of his own when he discloses that Tyrie will be entering into The Inferno to face off against Alton.
Alton and Tyrie hug each other, knowing that soon enough they will be at each others throats in order to stay in the game.
In the first Inferno, Alton and Tyrie must race to put together a puzzle while suspended upside down.
Tyrie gives up 110% in The Inferno; however he is no match for an old Challenge pro like Alton.
Jenn says her final goodbyes to Tyrie, the only other member of the Bad Asses originally from The Real World: Denver.
Later that night, some of the girls from The Good Guys gossip about who the weak links are within The Bad Asses.
Meanwhile, the girls on The Bad Asses try to decide on who they will vote into the next inferno, but just end up arguing with each other.

Episode 3: The Good Guys Strike Back

The arguing from the previous night carries over to the next day when the Bad Asses are indecisive on a strategy for the next group challenge.
During the next group challenge, both teams must work tandemly to control a battering ram so they can eventually break down a door to get to a flag.
The Good Guys are in complete bliss when they hear the news of their first win against the undefeated Bad Asses.
After a devestating loss to The Good Guys, many of The Bad Asses begin to get upset, blaming each other for their team's defeat.
Later after decision making, both teams reveal that Susie & Jenn will be facing each other in the Inferno
Jenn tells her teammates that she is not intimidated of going into The Inferno, and that she is confident that she will not go home.
After being selected to enter the upcoming Inferno, Susie approaches Colie and Paula to ask them if they will throw the upcoming challenge so she can gain immunity.
Good Guys are in a predicament who will go into The Inferno if Susie wins immunity. Alton suggests that the best candidate is surely Rachel.____________________________________________________
Episode 4:Playing the Game

During the Wrap and Roll challenge, male and female team members are paired up to make their way across a narrow platform that is suspended hundreds of feet in the air.
The Wrap and Roll challenge proves to be very difficult for both teams. The only team that is able to complete the challenge under the ten minute time limit is Alton and Susie.
Because Susie is the only girl who was able-bodied to complete the challenge, she is granted immunity from The Inferno, and now must select someone to replace her.
After the challenge, The Bad Asses are quick to point out each other's short comings, which inevitably leads to them fighting again.
It is not a surprise when Susie picks Rachel to take her place during The Inferno.
During The Inferno, Jenn and Rachel must try to knock each other off of platforms by hitting targets that make their platforms more unstable and difficult to stand on.
Alton and Susie console Rachel who is devastated after being eliminated from The Inferno by Jenn.
During a late night party session, Ace and John humorously unintentally invade Colie, Susie, and Cara's bedroom in the middle of the night. The next day the girls cause a major feud when they confront the guys about their behavior.
Timmy tries to squash the feud that has taken over his team by intervening between Susie and Ace, but is unsuccessful when Ace will not cooperate.___________________________________________________
Episode 5: Kicking Ace

In this week's group challenge, team members must work together to transport flammable materials across a lake without getting wet, so they can start a fire to burn a rope that will knock down the opposing team's platform.
Danny tries to take the reins and organize his team, however Kenny resists against Danny's leadership, blaming him for the Bad Asses previous challenge loss.
Danny and The Bad Asses do their best to start a fire using steel wool and a battery.
The Good Guys are able to continue their winning streak when Ace is able to start a fire that burns through their opponents rope.
Alton, Timmy, and Susie cheer on their teammates from afar after they see that they have won yet another group challenge.
After deliberating, The Bad Asses announce that they will pick Davis, a challenge newbie, to enter the inferno for a second time.
Ace tries to tell Danny the reason the Good Guys picked him to go into The Inferno is because they wanted to knock out one of their opponent's strongest members. Later, Danny admits that he is furious when he begins to suspect that The Good Guys have unde

During this week's challenge, team members pair up in groups of two to help each other make their way to the top of a climbing wall.
Hoping that he could win a life shield, Danny is let down when he realizes that he does not have the fastest time in his group.
John and Abram are awarded life shields for completing their challenge with the quickest times.
During The Inferno, Danny pays homage to his mother by writing her name on his cheek.
In The Inferno, both contestants must chase each other in a circle until one is able to catch up with the other.
After a short time, Davis' quickness and agility pays off when he is able to catch up with Danny.
Danny says his final goodbyes to his team-mates before heading home.
With only three male members left, things are not looking so good for the Bad Ass guys.
Alton and the rest of the Good Guys are all smiles as they head back to the house with Davis.
When Davis gets home, he tells Jenn how great he feels after proving himself as a valuable asset, while being a challenge newbie.
During dinner, Susie and Tonya get into a tiff when Susie makes a comment about Tonya's perfume.

Challenge: Grape Smash

Timmy, Alton, and Ace decide that they will not compete in the next challenge when they learn that it requires them to wear skimpy Speedo bathing suits.
In the upcoming challenge, team members must jump inside this giant tub to stomp on grapes so they can eventually turn them into grape juice.
Team members can collect juice in their mouths by lying under this spigot.
After collecting the juice, teams can spit it out in the bottles a short distance away from the tubs, the team that fills up the most bottles before time runs out it the winner.
After the challenge, both teams deliberate and decide to put Susie and Jenn into The Inferno together.
Later that evening, Colie, Cara, and Susie bond over their common hatred for Tonya.
Upset because Susie dissed her, Tonya tells Ev that she plans on making Susie's life a living hell until she falls apart and goes home. , Colie, Cara, and Susie bond over their common hatred for Tonya.
During some downtime, the girls from the Good Guys take turns wrestling each other to see who is the strongest.
Alton and Johnny discuss weak links on the female side of their team. The both agree that Colie should be sent to the next Inferno.

During the next challenge, Colie becomes upset when she falls down and gets herself disqualified.
Susie is announced as the winner of the Life Shield for this challenge, which means she will not have to enter The Inferno.
On the way back from the challenge, Alton and Johnny both tell Colie that they think she should be sent to The Inferno instead of Susie.
Even though Tonya won the life shield, then told Jenn she would take her place, Jenn still finds herself heading into the Inferno.
The Good Guys watch on as Jenn eliminates Colie from The Inferno.
Because she won the life shield, and does not want to make the rest of her team unhappy, Susie decides to send Colie into The Inferno.
Colie says her final goodbyes Real World: Denver alum Davis before heading home.
After the Inferno Johnny tells the rest of the male Good Guys that he thinks their team is generally better off without Colie on-board.
After just coming out of an intense Inferno, some of the cast goes out for a night of partying to take the edge off.
During the course of the evening of partying, a drunken Tonya and Davis hook up on the dance floor, even though she is married, and he is gay.
The next night the girls on The Good Guys team play another game of ‘I Hate Tonya.'
Overhearing the girls from the Good Guys bash her behind her back, Tonya calls her husband and reveals that those harsh words really hurt her feelings.

The following day, before the next challenge starts, TJ announces that Aneesa will not be allowed to participate due to a knee injury.
During this challenge, both teams must work together to get everyone across a series of platforms without using their hands as support.
During deliberation, Ace admits that he is not scared to go into The Inferno, he just wants to make sure he goes up against a strong opponent.
After deliberating, both teams announce that they have picked Kenny and Ace to head into the next male Inferno.
After finding out that he could possibly be heading to The Inferno, Ace tells Cara and Susie that he is not scared at all.
Aneesa loses her cool when she is confronted about her knee injury by some of her female team members.

Abram and Derrick play a game of pool before the next challenge and discuss how they think Kenny is going to need to step up and prove himself if he want's to get out of going into The Inferno.
During this week's challenge team members must push dog sleds across fifty-yards of grass while carrying two members of the opposite team.
While competing in this week's challenge, Timmy is forced to quit after a knee injury from an earlier challenge comes back to haunt him.
Because he beat the time of all the other competitors on his team, Ace is able to collect the Life Shield, which grants him immunity from The Inferno.
The good guys deliberate in order to try to and decide who they should send into The Inferno as Ace's replacement.
Because Kenny and Ace both won Life Shields, Timmy and Abram wind up heading into The Inferno to compete against each other.
In this week's Inferno, both competitors are placed in glass cubes and given a metal ring. The first person to break all of the glass walls first becomes the winner.
After thinking he's sent Abe packing, Timmy looks shocked as TJ tells him he disqualified from The Inferno for failing to break all of his glass.
Abraham considers himself lucky while rejoining his teammates after the announcement of Timmy's DQ.
Timmy takes his loss like a man, and shakes TJ's hand right after announcing that The Inferno 3 will be his last challenge.
*Notes: Although, Timmy shattered all the glasses in the box, he was disqualified for not breaking one full window glass.

Before the next challenge, Kenny and Janelle discuss Aneesa's injured knee and how it could possibly have a negative effect on The Bad Asses.
Devastated by the loss of Timmy in The Inferno, Johnny and Paula try to figure out how to get The Good Guys back on track.
During this week's challenge both teams have to travel back and forth on a hand powered train carts, picking up a new member at every stop.
Janelle cheers on her team as they begin to fall behind in the challenge
The Bad Asses deliberate in order to choose who will go into the next female Inferno; as usual Tonya pushes her team to vote for Susie.
Even though they initially fell behind, The Good Guys eventually blow the The Bad Asses out of the water.
Jenn smiles as she learns that she will be voted into The Inferno for the third time in a row.
Susie watches on as Jenn, her opponent in the next Inferno, puts her mask on display for everyone to see.
After deliberation, Susie tells Kenny and the rest of the girls from The Good Guys that she plans on proving herself in the next Inferno.

Vexed that she is continuously picked to go into The Inferno every time, Jenn tells Aneesa that she is going to keep on being victorious till she has proven herself.
Cara tells Susie that she doesn't want her to be eliminated in the upcoming Inferno, and that she will do whatever she can to help her win the Life Shield.
Upset that she incessantly is chosen to go into the Inferno, Jenn tells Derrick that she plans on sticking around till the end of the competition.
During this week's challenge Giraffic Park, teams must match up wooden giraffes faster than each other.
Cara purposely takes her time during Giraffic Park so that it is easier for Susie to win the life shield.
Johnny tries to tell his team that he has found a way to easily tell the difference between the giraffes; unfortunately everyone is so caught up in the challenge and doesn't hear him.
Because neither of them were able to win Life Shields, Jenn and Susie face off in the Inferno.
During the Inferno, Jenn has a difficult time removing flags, which gives Susie an advantage right off the bat.
The Good Guys embrace Susie as she returns triumphant from the Inferno.
Jenn says her final goodbye to Aneesa, who has been her friend throughout the challenge.
Later that night, Ace and Johnny realize that Cara was trying to turn them against each other in order to take heat off herself.
After Jenn is sent home in an intense Inferno, both teams take a second to chill out by goofing off, and partying by the pool.
During a team meeting, Cara tries to convince the Good Guys that John almost cost them the win in the previous challenge by keeping information from the rest of the team
Cara comes cleans and admits to performing poorly on purpose in order to help her close friend Susie.

During this week's challenge both team members are asked a series of trivia questions while members of their team are attached to electric chairs.
For every question that a team member gets incorrect, their representative is given a jolt of electricity, the team with the most correct answers gets $10,000 to their team bank account.
Paula is annoyed with her team's lack of effort when TJ announces the Bad Asses have won this week's challenge.
After the challenge, TJ announces that both teams will have to choose both a male and female members to go into the final two Infernos, the good guys pick Derrick and Aneesa.
The Bad Asses vote Susie and Davis into the Inferno. This is Susie's fourth time being voted in by the Bad Asses.
Derrick begins to worry about being eliminated in the Inferno. During the previous two challenges he has been sent home right before the final round has started. ________________________________________________

Kenny worries on the night before the next challenge that if Derrick is able to win the Life Shield he will send him into the Inferno in his place.

During this week's challenge, male members of both teams use fishing reels to pull in female members of the opposing team. The team that reels in all of the girls faster is named the winner.
Derrick gives one-hundred-and-ten-percent during the challenge with hopes that he will be able to win the Life Shield, and avoid the Inferno.
Everyone is impressed with Davis' performance during the challenge when he has very little trouble reeling in Tonya from the Bad Asses.

Derrick is crushed when it is revealed that Kenny has won this week's life shield over him.
During the Inferno, Davis gives it his all but is no match against Derrick, who will be heading to the final round of a challenge for the first time ever, since he started competing several season ago.
In a gesture of good sportsmanship, Davis congratulates Derrick before leaving the challenge for good.
While the rest of the guys celebrate making it to the final round, the girls begin to dread the fact that one of them will be going home very soon.
On the night after the last male Inferno, guys from both teams are busy celebrating, at one point Abram throws Susie into the pool as a joke.
After being thrown into the pool by Abram, Susie finally breaks down and admits that she is super-stressed about always being targeted for the Inferno.

The next day before the challenge, it is announce that Tonya will be forced to sit out due to nausea problems. She is distraught.
This week's challenge is called ‘Nothing But Net,' in which players must swing on a rope from one net to another collecting flags, the team with the lowest average time is named winner.
Derrick takes rein before the Bad Asses start the challenge and tells them to take their time so that they don't grow tired early, fall off and become disqualified.
Susie watches on un-approvingly as Cara whips through the challenge quickly. Eventually, Cara wipes herself out and is disqualified which makes Susie a shoe in for the Life Shield.
Susie does win the Life Shield which put her in a predicament to pick Cara or Paula for the Inferno. Even though her whole team tells her to pick Cara, Susie tells them she will not split her alliance with Cara.
Susie ends up using her Life Shield to pick Paula, who will go up against Aneesa, who was successful in eliminating Paula in the previous challenge The Duel.
In the Inferno, Aneesa must race against Paula ascending a wall to flag at the top, the person who can ascend the wall and reach the flag the quickest gets to stay for the final mission
Aneesa is no match for Paula in the Inferno, after being eliminated, she holds her head high and says good bye to the remaining members of her team with nobility.
