The Real World 20: Hollywood

Photobucket
The Real World: Hollywood is the twentieth season of MTV's reality television series The Real World, which focuses on a group of diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras document their lives and interpersonal relationships. It premiered on April 16, 2008. Its season finale was broadcast July 9, 2008, and a reunion special was broadcast live on July 12, 2008.

Assignment: The Hollywood cast was assigned to take improv comedy classes at iO WEST, a comedy club in Hollywood. The cast names their group WTF, which ostensibly stands for Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, but subtextually stands for "What the Fuck", which cast member Dave Malinosky explains in Episode 8 is the reaction the cast predicted they would invoke in their audience.

    Episodes:

    Episode 1: 'Welcome to Hollywood'

Seven strangers, all aspiring to make it in the entertainment industry, are moving to Hollywood. Welcome to season 20 of The Real World!

The first roommate to arrive in Hollywood is Joey, a Chicago native who thinks he has everything it takes to be an actor: confidence, charisma, good looks and an amazing body. Meanwhile, Kimberly, who just touched down from South Carolina, dreams of being a reporter for E! News. When she meets Joey at Mel's Drive-In, she's impressed by his inviting personality, and even more impressed by the fact that he's a personal trainer. Next we meet Dave from Pennsylvania, who isn't sure what he wants to do in Hollywood. Dave is immediately smitten when he meets Sarah, a Phoenix native who just graduated from Arizona State University with a broadcast journalism degree. He's disappointed to learn that the brunette beauty has a boyfriend, but quickly perks up when she says it's a long-distance relationship. Those never work out, right? Will and Brianna are the last to meet up, and the two sense an immediate attraction. Originally from Detroit, Will came to Hollywood to be a music producer. Brianna, from Philadelphia, wants to be a singer; she even tried out for American Idol once. Will likes everything about Brianna from the get-go, from her long golden hair to her cute little shoes. When Brianna admits she's only been single for a week, Will is even more intrigued. Joey and Kim are the first to arrive at The Real World house. Kim loves that the house looks like an extravagant movie set, while Joey is impressed by the huge outdoor gym. Will and Brianna arrive next and are equally impressed with their new digs. After getting to know each other a little, Joey and Will decide to share a bedroom, as do Kim and Brianna. When Dave and Sarah arrive, they're greeted by the excited screams of the other roommates. Everyone discusses the arrival of the final roomie, who was picked by fans. All they know about him is that he's a self-proclaimed "pretty boy" named Greg. Sarah admits that, after doing some online research, she doesn't think she's going to get along with him. When Greg finally arrives, his attitude is calm, cool and ... unimpressed, causing some of The Real World roommates to label him as stuck up. He might be good looking and well dressed, but he definitely doesn't come across as friendly. Not wanting to waste any time with formalities, Brianna's ready to get the party started, which means drinking up and stripping down. When Kim and Brianna take off their tops, Dave enters the room sans shorts. Looks like this is one wild bunch! Later, Greg offends the other Real Worlders when he reveals that he doesn't need or want close relationships with people, especially girls. He thinks friends are more trouble than they're worth. The more Greg talks, the more Sarah's dislike for him grows. That night, the roomies head out, dressed to impress for their first night in Hollywood. But the night takes an awkward turn when Greg calls the club they choose "the lamest spot in L.A.," making Sarah lose her cool. And when Will finds out that Brianna is a stripper, his attitude toward her immediately changes. Earlier, he saw her as the total package. Now he's disgusted by her and can't even look her in the face. The next morning, Greg tries to redeem himself by making breakfast for everyone. Kimberly thinks maybe she and the other roomies got a bad first impression or just don't know how to read him yet. This leads to Brianna and Will talking about their first impressions of each other. Will admits that while he was attracted to Brianna at first, he lost all respect for her when he learned she was a stripper. Brianna insists that she came to Hollywood to put stripping in the past. Will decides to give her another chance, ending the conversation by asking her for a lap dance. Boys will be boys. Brianna's fresh start has barely gotten off the ground when she gets a phone call informing her there's a warrant out for her arrest. She reveals that before she came to Hollywood, she was arrested for "simple assault and harassment" after an argument with her ex-boyfriend, Bobby. Brianna learns she has 30 days to return to Philadelphia for her arraignment or she'll end up in jail. Could her Hollywood dream come to an end before it even starts? Kim and Sarah overhear Brianna arguing on the phone with her ex. Brianna becomes furious when Bobby grills her about whether she's hooked up with anyone yet and she slams the phone down. The other girls are shocked and scared by Brianna's quick temper. When they question Brianna, she explains how a previous fight between her and Bobby led to her punching him in the face. Hoping to relieve the tension, The Real Worlders get ready to go out for the night. While everyone is joking around, Sarah announces that she doesn't want her gum anymore and sticks out her tongue. Will happily takes her gum -- with his mouth. And, according to his calculations, it qualifies as a kiss. As the roomies head out, Sarah realizes she forgot her purse and has to go back into the house. Will takes advantage of the situation and goes back inside with her. He admits to having "a kindergarten crush" on her, and Sarah confides that she makes bad decisions when she parties. After getting flirty in the confessional, Sarah and Will go into one of the bedrooms and close the door. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang hits a club. But, once again, Greg takes one look at the place, says he's bored and peaces out. Later, as the roommates start straggling back to the house, Sarah sneaks out of Will's room. Back at the house, Greg is still giving attitude, calling Joey a "weirdo" because he's wearing a tank top in the hot tub. Annoyed, Joey threatens Greg and storms off. When Brianna confronts Greg and tells him he's rubbing people the wrong way, he brushes her off. He refuses to apologize and says he will no longer speak to anyone who doesn't like him. With Greg hanging out by himself, the rest of the roomies crowd into the confessional to bash him. He overhears them and runs off to call his mom. While talking to mommy, Greg composes himself, saying he doesn't care about the rest of the "peasants" in the house because he's perfect and doesn't need to change. Things finally start to wind down for the night. Brianna and Joey have a heart-to-heart about Brianna's ex while Kimberly and Dave get cuddly on the couch. As the guys and girls pair off for the night, it looks like Greg is the odd man out. He's left shooting some hoops all alone.

Episode 2: ‘Let's Not Get Ghetto’

It's week two and The Real World: Hollywood crew is already knee-deep in drama. Sarah calls her boyfriend, Ryan, and reveals that Will has a crush on her. Ryan doesn't take the news very well, but Sarah assures him not to worry. Meanwhile, Will asks Brianna to help him cook up a plan to win Sarah over. As Sarah tells Ryan she loves him, Will and Brianna pinky swear to bust up the long-distance relationship.
Looking for a change of scenery -- you know, something other than bars and clubs -- The Real Worlders go on a daytime tour of Hollywood. During lunch, Greg isolates himself by sitting at a separate table. Will decides to make an effort by sitting down with Greg, who talks trash about everyone. Despite disagreeing with Greg's point of view, Will agrees to spend a little one-on-one time with Greg the next night. Greg plans to take Will to a club where there will be important people who might be able to help them get ahead in their music careers. Even thought it's Sarah's birthday, Will decides to go -- after all, he's in Hollywood to launch his music career. Plus, he assumes Sarah won't care. During Sarah's pre-birthday dinner, Greg tries to ease the tension with his Real World housemates. Greg and Joey make nice as Greg teaches Joey how to use chopsticks. But then Sarah gets upset when Will says he and Greg are heading to a club on her actual birthday. When the guys chat up a blonde with hardcore cleavage, Dave gives the girl their phone number and address. Looking on, the girls disgustedly point out how desperate the guys seem. Kimberly, who feels a connection with Dave, is especially offended that Dave is trying to pick up a big-breasted bimbo. Back at The Real World house, the girls confront Dave and tell him that being desperate isn't attractive. Just as Dave finishes smoothing things over with his female roomies, the doorbell rings -- it's the girl from the bar! The guys hide behind the couch as Brianna confronts the girl head-on, telling her she can't come in. Instead, Dave invites Kimberly into his bed for the night. She climbs in but doesn't quite give the green light to take things to the next level. When Sarah's 21st birthday rolls around, Will and Greg head out to drink, flirt and "do business." In another part of Hollywood, Sarah meets guys left and right who are more than willing to buy her birthday drinks. After getting a little tipsy, she pulls a Dave and gives her address and phone number to one of the guys. Um, doesn't she have a boyfriend?! Once back at the house, Dave is tucking a nauseous Sarah into bed when the doorbell rings. The tables have turned -- it's one of Sarah's suitors from the bar! Sarah springs out of bed, only to realize she is really drunk. She tells the guy he'll have to take a rain check as Joey shuts the door in his face. When Will hears what happened, he thinks Sarah has "cheater potential," which gives him hope. Things are also getting hopeful between Brianna and Joey. As she watches him in the pool, she tells him she thinks he's hot. Joey admits he's attracted to Brianna but doesn't feel comfortable hooking up because he has too much on his mind. But their actions say otherwise when they crawl into bed together and make out. Later, Sarah and Kimberly warn Brianna not to give it up to Joey too soon. But Brianna says she could care less if Joey respects her, she just wants to have fun. During their talk, Brianna admits she got pregnant when she was 19 and started stripping so she could afford to have an abortion. After hearing her story, Sarah and Kimberly make it their mission to change Brianna's wild ways. The Real Worlders go out the next night and everyone drinks hard and fast, which turns out to be a bad combination. Kimberly and several other roommates wind up bringing a few people home for an after-party. Meanwhile, Brianna meets two guys, a singer and a producer who claim they want her to sing on a couple of their tracks. But when Brianna tries to bring them inside the house, she learns there's a "guest max" and the guys can't come in until someone else leaves. When Kimberly and the other roomies refuse to force their guests to go, Brianna starts talking trash outside. Kimberly confronts her and the two girls get into a screaming match. When Kimberly calls Brianna "ghetto," Brianna threatens to punch Kimberly before being pulled away. The tension continues to escalate when Joey starts some arm wrestling matches that get a little too intense. Brianna sees a different side of Joey when, eyes bugging and veins popping, he forcefully slaps her hand away when she tries to calm him down. The next morning, Greg mediates the ongoing fight between Brianna and Kimberly, who make amends -- for the moment. Then, Brianna tells Joey what a scary person he becomes when he drinks. Joey calls his grandma to discuss the situation. He confesses that he really doesn't like going out and drinking, but he feels pressured to do it. Several hours later, Joey still feels ashamed about his behavior, even though Dave assures him he did nothing wrong. Joey tells Dave he doesn't want to drink anymore, but Dave doesn't take him seriously. That night, everyone parties as usual, except for Joey, Kimberly and Sarah, who all agree that they don't like who they are when they're drunk. Even though Joey's getting away with taking it easy this one night, he realizes that Hollywood is all about the party lifestyle ... and he isn't sure he can handle it.

    Episode 3: 'Where's Joey'

As The Real World roommates continue to get to know each other, secrets are spilled, tempers flare and relationships run from steaming hot to icy cold. Kimberly and Dave's blossoming relationship is flirty and fun, and they like to cuddle and occasionally hookup. But they both say they're not looking for a serious relationship. Yet, when Kimberly gets all sweaty while dirty dancing with another guy one night, Dave gets a little jealous. After the dance floor fling, Kimberly admits she "kind of" likes Dave, who says he's "smitten." But when pressed by the other Real Worlders they both claim they're just joking. Yeah, right. While out in Hollywood, Joey starts the night off by insisting he's not going to drink. After being pressured by his roomies, he admits to Brianna and Dave that he has a problem handling his alcohol and is afraid his inner "monster" will rear its ugly head if he drinks too much. Despite being pissed that people are forcing drinks on him, Joey finally caves and sips a glass of champagne. He watches enviously as the rest of The Real Worlders take shots. Seeing how much fun they're having, Joey gives in and orders a drink. After downing a few more drinks, Joey gets flirty with Brianna and the two end up making out. But Brianna quickly goes from being hot and heavy with Joey to making out with a random girl. After the kiss, she freaks out when her mouth goes numb and realizes the girl must have been doing cocaine. When Brianna gets back to The Real World house, she tells Sarah that she once struggled with a meth addiction, which turned into a coke problem. Now that she's had another taste of the drug, she's afraid she'll go on a downward spiral again. When Joey stumbles back to the house with a blonde girl on his arm, Brianna realizes that she gets totally turned off when she sees this side of him. Not wanting to deal with his drunken antics, she gets ready for bed. When Joey confronts Brianna about why she's upset, she refuses to talk to him. He angrily storms off, threatening to leave the Hollywood house. When he and Brianna finally talk, Joey starts crying and saying that he doesn't want to live anymore. Talk about a buzz kill. The next day, Joey calls a friend to talk about how ashamed he is of how he acted. He resolves to try to stay on the straight and narrow. Joey apologizes to Brianna for his behavior the night before, and she tells him about her ongoing struggle with addiction. She says that now that she knows he has a problem, they can work together to beat their addictions. After apologizing, Joey beats the crap out of a punching bag until his knuckles rip open and bleed. Brianna gets freaked out by Joey's anger issues and realizes she's not interested in him anymore. She's doesn't want to deal with extra baggage while she's trying to work through her own problems. As if there's not enough drama going on in The Real World house, Dave finds a bloody napkin in his bed. When he tells Kimberly about the incident, she reveals that Will found rocks in his bed. When Dave rants about the incident, Greg just laughs, causing the roomies to speculate that he's behind the pranks. Soon, though, The Real Worlders get distracted from their problems when they receive a letter with a mysterious message telling them to meet someone named Andy at iO West, an improv comedy theater. Could this be about their job? When the gang arrives, they are greeted by comedian Andy Dick, who tells them that instead of working they will be taking improv classes! While the rest of The Real World roomies jump for joy, Greg insults Andy by saying he's never heard of him. Despite Greg's rudeness, Andy takes everyone inside to meet Charna, an acting coach. As she explains what they'll be learning, Greg looks bored. Then, when everyone celebrates with a drink, Greg wanders off and stares blankly out a window. Greg says he's just trying to take everything in, but the other Real Worlders are ticked about how rude he's being. Later, Joey, Kimberly and Sarah stay home while everyone else goes out to party. Out and about in Hollywood, Brianna ends up going wild and making out with a guy named JoJo. When she brings JoJo back to the house, Dave announces that JoJo's nickname is HoHo because he gets around. Sarah and the rest of The Real Worlders try to talk Brianna out of letting him stay over. When Joey gets wind of what's going on, he sulks on the couch. In the end, Brianna decides to send JoJo home, making him promise they'll hang out another time. After seeing Joey so down in the dumps over Brianna, Greg reveals that he thinks Brianna is playing games. Meanwhile, Brianna admits to Sarah that she is just playing with Joey because it makes her feel good. Before going to bed, Greg finds $100 bills strategically placed around his bed and loudly asks who put them there. When Will goes to investigate the situation, he decides that Greg is just trying to cover up for his earlier pranks. During The Real Worlders first class at iO West, Charna has them all give improv their best shot. Greg does a good job of making everyone laugh during his scenes, but proves to be difficult when he refuses to go to a mandatory comedy show that night. When a disappointed Charna calls Greg up, he swears this will be the only time he bails. After the comedy show, Brianna calls JoJo but can't reach him. Joey tries to console her by saying she could do better -- namely, she could have him. But Brianna says she thinks Joey's more into himself than anyone else. Before Joey flies off the handle over her comment, Greg pulls him inside and reveals there's a hot girl coming over to see him. The chick only has eyes for Joey, and Greg hopes that this will stop Joey from pursuing Brianna. When Joey meets the beautiful Shalee, he agrees it's indeed time to stop pining over Brianna. Easier said than done, though, right?

    Episode 4: 'Joey's Intervention'

After having a harsh conversation with Joey, Brianna decides to bring Will back to Philadelphia for her court hearing, instead of Joey. Bri's friend, Joe, meets them in the airport, and they head out for a night at Bri's old place of employment -- a strip club that Will thinks is nothing more than a hole in the wall. After introducing Will to her co-workers, Bri surprises him with her own seductive little show on top of the bar. Left behind at the house, Joey decides to drown his sorrows over Bri during a "fun" night out at the bar. He quickly forgets his one-drink-limit, even when Dave reminds him that he'll definitely have regrets the next morning if he drinks more. Joey makes an empty promise that he's done drinking for the night, then heads back into the bar to pound back a few more, and complains that he hates being babysat. Sure enough, when the roommates are finally able to get Joey home, he goes into a drunken rant about his horrible family life. Later that night, some female guests come over to the house to see Greg and Joey. The guests are loud and drunk, and keep the other housemates awake. But when Greg is ready to call it a night and goes to bed, Joey is still in party-mode. He sits back and chugs a bottle of wine as his blonde guest attempts to make him scrambled eggs. Back in Philadelphia, Bri is being judged by Will and Joe for her inappropriate court outfit. The guys tell her that booty shorts probably won't make the best impression, and convince her to change into a professional pair of pants. But when Bri gets to the court house, before she even steps in the door, she's told that she might be arrested that day. At 8:30am that morning, Joey is still drinking, and throws another, more violent temper tantrum. His guest manages to sneak out the door before things get ugly, and Sarah and Kim leave their cozy beds and hide outside, afraid that Joey might actually hurt them. After escaping Joey's room, Dave finds the girls, and they discuss the idea of having Joey leave the house for good. After a very quick court meeting, which Bri says was completely pointless, she learns that although Bobby has dropped the charges, she has to schedule a second court date to meet with the public defender. When Bri calls Bobby to tell him she thought he looked good, Will starts to think that maybe Bri's not totally over Bobby. After his out-of-control tantrum, Joey passes out for several hours. But when he wakes up and Sarah tries to gently confront him, he flies into a rage again. The roommates finally convince Joey to sit down and calmly talk with them in the living room, and they discover that Joey has no memory of the previous night. The roommates realize that Joey is still drunk when he starts screaming that he didn't have any problems before he came to the Real World house. Joey storms out of the room to call the Real World producers, and tell them he wants out of the house. The producers offer to put Joey into a 30-day treatment program, and then let him return to the house. Joey agrees, astounded that complete strangers care about him. He goes back to the house to apologize and say good-bye to his roommates, who tell him they are more than happy to step in and be the supportive family he never had. Bri and Will come back to the Real World house after Joey has already left. Everyone is upset about Joey's absence, but Bri feels completely responsible for his bizarre behavior, because of the harsh things she said to him before she left for Philadelphia. But Bri quickly forgets about Joey as she talks to her mom on the phone, and realizes she still has feelings for Bobby. Will Bri ignore her mom, the roommates, and all her common sense to get Bobby back? After a few days in rehab, Joey makes a surprise phone call to the Real World house. Everyone is happy to hear that while things are a little rough, Joey's hanging in there, and is determined to kick his destructive habits, once and for all.

Dave taps Greg in the face with newspaper, but then they make up over the misunderstanding. At home Kim tells Sarah how she won't sleep without resolving her conflict with Dave. Sarah advises Kim to go talk to him. Kim heads to Dave's room to talk and the two make up, and end up back in bed together making out and flirting. Brianna tells her ambitions as well, but says it seems like a lot of work. At the house, Will encourages Brianna to make changes in her life so she can be successful in the music business. Sarah and Kim gossip about how Brianna leaves all of her stuff out in the bathroom. Kim and Sarah take Brianna's stuff and hide it under the "dock" in the office area, giggling the whole time at their mischief. The roommates head to the club and Brianna begins to make out with JoJo. Sarah and Kim begin to comment how JoJo is a scum bag, but Brianna is not happy with this commentary. Brianna brings JoJo back to the house and the two get cozy with each other. They take their action to the bedroom where they begin to have sex while Sarah is wide awake. Sarah stomps out of the room upset by the disrespect from her roommate. Sarah angrily calls her mother to complain about the sex occurring in her room. Sarah's mom agrees that the behavior is wrong and tells her to find God to deal with it. Kim and Sarah recount Brianna's sexual conquest and how disrespectful it was while they were awake. Sarah's tantrum continues as she is slamming doors and drawers to wake up Brianna and JoJo who are still in bed. Sarah gives JoJo the silent treatment as he says good morning. Brianna comes to the bathroom and finds her stuff missing and Sarah informs her that she placed it under the dock. Brianna is angry. Outside, JoJo talks with Brianna and tells her to not get upset over trivial things like this Sarah situation. Brianna just thinks Sarah is being morally wrong. Inside the house, Kim and Sarah continue to mock Brianna and JoJo. Will's manager Sebastian sets up a meeting with rapper Sticky Fingaz. Will plays his beats for Sticky and he says Will has potential. Back home Sarah calls her dad to discuss the Brianna issue, while Will talks with Brianna about it. Brianna tries to understand Sarah's point of view, but thinks Sarah is very judgmental and close minded, but wants to make things right between them. Sarah's dad advises her to try to get along with Brianna and "love" her for who she is. Sarah is reluctant but finally agrees that's what she needs to do. Sarah heads to church on a Sunday morning and ponders the differences between Brianna and herself. Sticky Fingaz emailed Will telling him that he could work on his upcoming album possibly. Will is excited and goes to celebrate with Brianna. Will and Brianna both feel that more effort needs to be put into Brianna's music career. Brianna parties with JoJo later that night, but claims that she needs to move on with her life now and focus on herself. Brianna heads into the bedroom and resolves the conflict she had with Sarah. Episode 6: 'Greg Vs. The House'

After hearing his roommates do a confessional about him, Greg realizes that he doesn't like most of the roommates. Kimberly admits to having feelings for Dave. Dave meets Justine and brings her back to the house, which upsets Kimberly. Will, knowing that Sarah has a boyfriend kisses her anyway. Sarah's boyfriend asks if Sarah told him that she had a boyfriend and she swears that he already knew that.
Ryan, Sarah's boyfriend comes to visit. When he arrives she jumps into his arms and tells him how much she has missed him. At dinner later, Will and Ryan share a few awkward moments as Will proceeds to have a burping contest with Sarah. When Greg returns home, he makes sure to introduce himself to Ryan. Meanwhile the rest of the roommates are in a playful mood and wrestling around the house. When Greg brings a girl home for Dave, Kimberly is left alone. Will tells Kimberly to confront Dave, but she doesn't want to. One of Greg and Dave's guest make a comment saying that Brianna is ghetto and she starts ranting about how the guests are whores. Brianna and Greg proceed to have a shouting match. "I hope you catch herpes," Bri tells Greg. "You won't let me catch it," Greg replies. After Brianna walks away from Greg he starts in with Sarah. Sarah charges out of her room and confronts Greg on his behavior towards women. Greg sees Ryan standing behind Sarah and tells Ryan that if he wants to fight he will get beat up. Ryan tells Greg that he doesn't want to fight but insists that Greg not to call Sarah a bitch and also that Greg not call women "hoes". Ryan admits that the argument with Greg felt like a real fight. Brianna decides that she likes Ryan because he isn't the type of guy that would fight with Greg. Kimberly admits to her Mom that she has been getting close to Dave, but says that she doesn't want to get to close. That night at the IO Dave admits to Justine that he had people over the night before. Justine tells him that he doesn't have to explain to her. Back at the house Dave and Justine do a confessional together and proceed to make out in the confessional booth. Kimberly sees an opportunity and informs Justine and her friends that Dave has been intimate with other girls in the past few nights. Justine and her friends decide to leave the house. Dave gets so mad that he threatens to knock out the girls if they even look at him wrong. Greg looks up at Dave and tells him that Justine wasn't that hot so he shouldn't be upset. Dave gets very defensive and starts to yell at Greg, his anger towards the girls being channeled at Greg. Inside the house Dave is still mad at Greg. Brianna takes Greg's "associate" Reva aside and warns her about Greg. Greg tells Reva t5hat she can't talk with any of the females in the house or he won't be her friend anymore. Brianna and Will take some time to soak their feet and talk about Greg. When Greg comes outside and wonders what they were talking about Brianna ends up telling him that he is a dog because of his chauvinist attitude towards women. Sarah discovers that all of her brand new underwear has been stolen. She confronts Greg, but he swears that he didn't take the missing underwear. Sarah tells Ryan about her missing things and cries that she can't live like this. Sarah calls her parents and they comfort her about her missing things. When she is done with her call, Greg tries to get in to use the phone, but Sarah stubbornly keeps the phone away from Greg, even though her boyfriend tells her to let it go. Sarah realizes that she doesn't want to leave the house. Greg admits to some of the pranks to Will but still denies taking Sarah's underwear. Ryan's visit is over and he leaves Stage 20. Later, Brianna decides to search Greg's belongings for Sarah's missing underwear. She doesn't find it. That night at a club, Greg admits to Will that he took the underwear. Will informs Dave of Greg's confession. Back at the house, Will takes his aggression towards Greg out on a punching bag. Greg wonders what Will's problem is and Will tells him that he needs to return Sarah's missing underwear. After Sarah finds her missing things Will tells her about Greg's admission of guilt. The roommates discuss how they can't trust Greg anymore and Dave says that he would love to kick Greg's ass. Will makes a move on Greg's "associate" Reva. On the dance floor Will and Reva start to kiss. Later that night Reva calls for Greg and he informs her that he is upset with her. Reva denies anything happening and Greg decides to invite her over to the house. Once Reva is at the house she wastes no time in asking Kimberly about Will. Kimberly informs Reva of Greg's pranks. When Will enters the room, Kimberly agrees to be the look out for Reva and Will so they can spend some time alone. Greg searches the house for Reva to no avail. When he tries to look in the confessional booth the door is slammed shut on his face. Greg worries that Reva and Greg are doing something in the confessional, and is right. When Will and Reva exit the confessional, Reva lies to Greg and says that they were just talking in there. Greg believes Reva and forgives her, as long as she agrees to stay away from his roommates. Kimberly finds the whole situation comical when Will tells them about Greg being mad at him and not Reva.

    Episode 7: 'Get It On'

As Greg sits down in the kitchen to eat with his cousin and friend, his breakfast quickly turns awkward as Will walks into the kitchen and neither says a word to each other. Greg is still mad at Will for trying to get with Reva in the confessional room, and his cousin determines to fight Will next time he gets in Greg's face. Greg leaves to take out his unspoken anger against a punching bag. Kim and Sarah come into kitchen and are disgusted by mess that Greg left. Dave, Kim and Sarah get mad that Greg never cleans up when he is the only person that ever cooks. Kim leaves Greg a note from her, Sarah, and Dave that tells Greg to take out the "chicken trash." Greg snidely dismisses Kim's note. Sarah, Dave, and Kim go to brush their teeth only to find that their toothbrushes have grease on them. All three immediately blame Greg and are becoming fed up with his prankster antics. Dave is particularly infuriated and dumps out Dave's food, takes dishes outside, and sprays down the kitchen. Dave vents his anger to Will and Will agrees that no one in the house trusts or believes in Greg because of his pranks. Will talks to his dad on the phone about Greg and his disrespectful attitude. His dad tells him it's a temporary situation, but Will confesses that he has so much anger built up and his attempts to meditate do not get rid of the anger sitting inside of him. Will relentlessly punches a palm tree- to release his anger-probably not the type of meditation his dad was talking about-while Greg watches with confusion from behind. Still angry, Will says wants to turn his anger directly at Greg. Dave confronts Greg about the messy kitchen and the greasy toothbrushes. Greg gives him the cold shoulder and denies putting grease on the toothbrushes. Instead, Greg says he took Kimberly's and Sarah's toothbrushes and brushed the countertop, the sink, the bottom of his shoe and the floor. On his last nerve, Dave tells Greg to clean up or else "hurricane Dave will be on his ass." To her excitement, Kim's friends show up with her dogs. Likewise, Sarah's family is visiting. In front of her family, things get heated with Greg and Sarah in the kitchen as Greg blames Sarah for cock blocking. Sarah and Greg continue to argue as Greg tells lies to cover himself up. Will enters the dispute and calls Greg out on his insecurities and egotistical attitude, ultimately telling Greg to man up. Despite Brianna's attempts to intervene, Will continues fighting, but this time uses the ultimate low blow and brings Greg's deceased father into the fight. Dave sides with Will as the violence escalates. Dave punches the wall and Will throws stuff at Greg, who calls to have Will removed from the house. Will is forced to leave the house for the night and stay in a hotel. Will breaks down and confesses to Kimberly and Sarah how he just wanted to protect people in the house because he was always picked on and can't stand by and watch other people get picked on who can't defend themselves. Dave doesn't think Will is coming back, but hopes he doesn't go, regardless of whether or not he crossed the line. On the other hand, Brianna feels for Greg and lets Greg know that she is proud of him for being the bigger person. The next morning, Dave talks to his Mom about his conflicting feelings. He doesn't hate Greg, but felt like he needed to take a side in the fight. His mom tries to convince him to come home, but Dave decides to tough it out and realizes that maybe he isn't as tough as people, including himself, think he is. Dave tells Greg that he doesn't hate him and didn't need to get involved last night. Dave confesses he must have negative feelings pent up inside him toward Greg but doesn't know where they come from because Greg never did anything wrong toward him. Greg doesn't think there should be any more conflict between him and Dave. Will comes back after his night away and The Real Worlders have a house meeting to talk about things that need to change. Dave starts and says he doesn't have an aggression problem, but the way that he has been dealing with things in the house is the reason why he blew up at Greg. He says he needs to directly confront the person with whom he has a problem rather than talk to others about it. Will apologizes to everyone, yet believes he still can't win with Greg and will never be able to trust Greg again. Greg promises to stop his pranks, but wants to talk to Will privately about their issues. One on one, Greg says that he is the victim because Will kissed a Reva, a female in Greg's "inner circle." Since Will can't trust Greg anymore, Will does not regret his actions with Reva and has to walk away from the argument. Joey calls the house and talks to Kim, who updates him on the escalating tension and fight between Greg, Will, and Dave. Will and Dave, much to their dismay, have to go to anger management class as a result of their violent behavior toward Greg. Sarah thinks Will and Dave have anger management problems, and she thinks, along with Kim, that the classes will be beneficial for the guys. Dave, however, just thinks he has an aggressive personality-not an anger management problem. Will is glad Dave is being subjected to the classes as well, and both are skeptical about whether or not the classes will help. During his first session, Dave is at first unreceptive to his anger management counselor and only opens his mouth to say, "no comment." But when the counselor starts talking about karate and the effectiveness of defensive moves, Dave is intrigued and realizes that maybe an aggressive stance isn't the best way to handle things with his roommates. Kimberly meets Dave after his session, and they both are excited about bringing Joey back to the pad. All The RealWorlders go to visit Joey and it's all smiles as everyone is happy to be reunited. Brianna even cries because she is happy that Joey is doing well and happy again. Joey has finished the three steps of rehab and informs his roommates that he can not be part of the party scene anymore. He's written a goodbye letter to all substances that he plans to read to his roommates when he returns from rehab. Everyone lets Joey know they are all there to help him and the roommates seem ready to make the necessary changes needed to help Joey when he returns. Back at the house, the tone changes slightly as Brianna says she came to Hollywood to network so she might not be as willing to give up partying. Sarah worries that, despite what was said, they all might not be willing to take the necessary steps knowing there is a recovering alcoholic in the house. And not surprisingly, they all head out for a wild night in Hollywood. Upon returning to the house late night quite, Kim in particular having too much to drink, everyone gets in the hot tub naked-except Sarah. Upon Will's request, everyone, wet and naked, goes to jump on Sarah in bed, who isn't as receptive as they had hoped. Kim thinks that Sarah is just too innocent and her boyfriend at home causes her to have a different lifestyle. The mayhem returns back to the hot tub as a make-out session starts. First, Dave and Brianna and then Kim gets her turn. Then Kim moves to Greg, who then moves on to Brianna. Kim confesses she is everything she doesn't want to be that night. Barely able to speak coherent sentences, Greg forgives Will and he tells Will that he understands how Will hooking up with Reva was just a spur of the moment thing. Will refuses to argue with Greg due to his intoxicated state, and again, he walks away leaving Dave and Reva together in the kitchen. Will attends an anger management session where he admits that calling out Greg's personal life was inappropriate and that he wants to get along with Greg. At the iO, Greg and Will do an improve scene together about "popping each others balloons." The other roommates smile as they are witnessing what might be the start to the end of Greg and Will's animosity toward each other. An addiction treatment counselor comes to the house to talk to Joey's roommates about Joey and the changes that will need to be made to help Joey continue to recover when he returns. Being around alcohol and a party atmosphere will definitely be "red flags" for Joey, so the counselor urges them to get creative about things to do that don't involve drugs or alcohol. If the roommates really want Joey back in the house, it will be a group effort and sacrifices will have to be made. After the counselor leaves, they all deliberate about the necessary changes they need to make, and while Kim and Dave agree to not be drunk in the house and cut back on the nights they go out, Brianna is still concerned that everyone will still be able to have fun. Sarah voices that Hollywood is immersed in "red flags," and she doesn't think that, despite what her roommates say, anything is going to change.

    Episode 8: 'Arrival & Departure'

After being in rehab for 30 days, Joey finally returns to Stage 20. Joey is more than happy to be back, and his roommates are equally as pumped. Joey has not even unpacked and settled in before Dave approaches him to let him know that he will be going out that night because his friends are in town. And sure enough, not only Dave, but everyone else goes out on Joey's first night back. Joey is too tired to go, so alone in the house, he works out and wonders if he made the right choice coming back. Meanwhile out in Hollywood, the roommates are not entirely unconcerned about Joey. They discuss how hard it must be for Joey to come back to this environment just out of rehab. Post work-out, Joey talks on the phone to Shannon, his friend from rehab, and tells her he is scared, and with none of his roommates there to comfort him, he wishes he was still in rehab. Shannnon is angry that it is Joey's first night back and his roommates are out at a club. Sarah comes back early and acknowledges that Joey is feeling a lack of support. She wants to give Joey that support he needs and isn't getting from the other roommates. After a rowdy night at the club, the rest of the roommates come back late, and while Dave makes out with one of his friends, the rest of them make noise in the kitchen. Joey, already unhappy with his disrespectful roommates, wakes up at 4:30 in the morning to their drunken rowdiness. At the IO, Charna is excited that Joey is back. She reminds everyone of their improve show, the Cage Match, they will be performing in only three days. Joey, being thrown right back into the mix, feels very behind and doesn't understand what is going on. While all The Real Worlders are grabbing drinks at Big Wangs, Will introduces himself to Janelle from the cast of The Real World Key West. Janelle gets Will's digits, and Will tells her he wants to have her look at his work because she has connections within the music industry. Later, Janelle calls Will and tells him that she listened to his music and is giving him the number for a good friend of hers who can look at his work. Joey expresses his concern to Brianna that the roommates are not really being accommodating and lets her know that he is disappointed they all went out drinking his first night back. Brianna thinks that nobody owes anything to anybody and tells Joey she will continue to do whatever she feels like doing. Simultaneously, Dave shotguns beers in the kitchen with his friends-no surprise there. Greg's mom calls and tells him that her friend, Julius, might be able to get Greg into a modeling show. Julius tells Greg that he can get him in a show on Thursday-the same day as the improv performance. Greg goes to Birds of Prey Warehouse to meet fashion designer, Peter Ross, and fashion show producer, Jeffery Relf, and to practice modeling for them. Greg is too much on the "beefy side" for what they want for their show, so it looks like Greg will be able to still make the improv show anyway. Joey goes out with the rest of the crew for the first time to see a show at the improv theater Surrounded by alcohol, Joey's anxiety sky-rockets, and he can't handle it. Back at the house, Joey tells Dave that he feels misunderstood and that he doesn't want to be put in those situations. After Dave tells Joey that situations like that are going to be everywhere, Joey is afraid he is going to relapse. Dave talks with Will and Sarah about how none of them are prepared to deal with addiction and a recovering alcoholic. Dave wants to be there for Joey, but he will only go so far. Will meets Janelle at a bar and on the way home they stop for Chinese food. Will is developing a "kindergarten crush" on her and wants to get to know her more. Brianna calls Charna to tell her that she will not be able to make it to the show because she has to go back home for a court date pertaining to her prior arrest. While the roommates practice for their show at the IO, Charna tells Joey that he is going to perform in the show despite his absence because she thinks he is ready-Joey thinks otherwise. The roommates are all making drinks in the kitchen at Stage 20, and when Joey comes home, they continue drinking. Sarah, once again being the comfort Joey needs, leaves with him and they ride to the improv show together. As the roommates gather at the IO before their show, they notice that Greg is missing. Not surprisingly, Greg opted to go to the fashion show after-party instead of performing in their improv show. The roommates, aside from Brianna and Greg, perform the Cage Match, and although they don't win, they feel awesome they finished their first show. Joey, however, walks outside angry because he is upset with how he performed. Venting to Sarah about how he has never wanted to drink more in his life, Sarah tells him to calm down and is once again the only one there for him. Sarah and Joey call Dr. Gilman, the addiction treatment counselor who came to talk to the house before Joey's return. Joey tells her that the plan of action they all agreed on is not really being adhered to. Charna comes to the house to talk Joey through his frustration. As the roommates return from the IO and Greg returns from his fashion show party, they have another late night party and wake up Joey once again. Joey is getting burnt out from all their disrespectful partying. Sarah, too, is starting to feel burnt out because she is the only one comforting Joey. Bearing such a heavy burden, she calls Charna and tells her she doesn't feel well and can't make it to class that day. During improv class, Charna, who is completely supportive of Joey's sobriety, tells the roommates that they have to help Joey if they don't want to lose him. Charna then buckles down and fires Greg for missing yet another improv event, and when she tells him he must leave Hollywood and go home to Florida, none of the other roommates stand up for him. Returning to Stage 20 for the last time to pack his bags, Greg calls Reva to have her come pick him up. Brianna calls to say she is not in jail, and as the roommates perform their second improv show, Joey is finally getting his confidence back.

    Episode 9: 'Joey Checks Out'

Despite the adjustments he's had to make since moving back to The Real World house, Joey is 30 days sober and feeling great. Yet, there is trouble on the horizon: Joey's friend Mike is coming for a visit. Mike introduced Joey to a lot of substances, and Joey admits to Sarah that he's scared he'll be tempted back into his old habits. Will sets up a meeting between Brianna and Max Gousse, a big-time music producer, so Brianna can show off her pipes. Max likes what he hears, so he gives Brianna some advice and tells her to call him when she's 100% ready. Brianna calls her mom to tell her the good news, but her mom is concerned that Brianna doesn't have a back-up plan since they both know how lazy she can be. Later, Joey's friends from home that don't do drugs, John and Joe, come to visit. John and Joe are both supportive of Joey's sobriety, and the three pals chill at a hookah bar. It's a relaxing time, but in the back of Joey's mind are concerns about Mike's impending visit. When Joey gets back to The Real World house, Mike calls and is all riled up. Apparently he's been waiting across the street for over an hour and is ready to party. Joey tells Mike that he can't go to the places where Mike wants to go, so if Mike wants to see him he'll have to come inside the house. Mike is completely insensitive to Joey's needs and seems incapable of understanding what Joey is going through. Brianna, Joe and John are all supportive of Joey's decision to stay home -- but that doesn't stop Mike from calling again and angrily berating Joey. The next morning, there is a mysterious bag on the lawn. Inside, Joey finds gifts that Mike had brought from Chicago. While Joey acknowledges the friendly gesture, he realizes he is going to have to cut ties with Mike if he's going to stay sober. In order to deal with his increasing anxiety, Joey turns to smoking cigars and drinking coffee. Sarah doesn't think that Joey is choosing healthy coping mechanisms, but when she tells him that caffeine is only going to make him more anxious, he doesn't want to hear it. Later, Joey tells Dave how frustrated he is that Sarah keeps trying to mother him, saying that it just makes him want to go out and get wasted. An avid supporter of Brianna's music career, Will talks to Brianna about slowly working her way up in the industry. He encourages her to take the next step and get her voice heard. Heeding Will's advice, Brianna starts singing where she knows she can find an audience -- on a street corner in Hollywood. Back at the The Real World pad, Joey gives Sarah the cold shoulder. Frustrated, Sarah talks to her boyfriend, Ryan, about how hard it is to sit back and watch Joey make destructive choices. The next day, Molly, an actress who performs at iO West, comes over to take head shots of Joey. Feeling like he can confide in her, Joey admits that he doesn't think he'll be able to stay in Hollywood; it's just not the environment he needs after coming out of rehab. He also confesses that he's considering giving up acting because he is afraid he can't handle failure. Seriously contemplating going home, Joey tells his roommates he wants to read them the goodbye letter he wrote while in rehab. However, no one but Sarah seems interested. His roommates' bland reactions only reinforce Joey's desire to go home. Sarah goes to talk to Joey while he plays pool, but Joey tells her that he is miserable and depressed all the time and just wants to leave. At the iO West, Chandra tells The Real Worlders about a benefit concert at the Hard Rock Cafe called Donate Life. To Brianna's surprise, Alex Band, a member of The Calling, has requested that Brianna sing a song with him at the event. She is ecstatic! But when Joey tells Brianna about his decision to go home, she is upset that Joey doesn't see in himself the potential that she sees. She encourages him to push through the hard times and Joey says that he'll give it some more thought, but every day since he's been back from rehab has been worse and worse. Brianna's friends are in town and they accompany her to a rehearsal with Alex Band. Brianna is nervous about being onstage with the star, but when he gives her some words of wisdom, she feels as if she is moving in the right direction. Meanwhile, Joey talks to his grandmother about whether he should head home, and she encourages him to give it up if that's how he is really feeling. It looks like Joey has finally cemented his decision to say goodbye to The Real World. It's Joey's last night in the house and, at 1:30 a.m., Dave and Will decide that they are not going to let their time with Joey end on such a sour note. It's time to initiate Operation Condor -- the boys are going to a strip club! Loaded with dollar bills, Will, Dave and Joey have the time of their lives slammin' down waters at the club. And after Joey gets a lap dance, he is feeling especially great. Even after having a fun night out in Hollywood, Joey still feels that he has to go home. It's no longer just about missing an opportunity versus sticking it out; it's about life versus death. Joey finally reads his goodbye letter to his roommates. The letter tells the story of the tragedies addiction caused in his life, including an attempted suicide. After Joey bares his soul, The Real World roommates finally feel like they understand what he's been going through -- if only a little too late. After saying a hard and emotional goodbye to Joey, The Real Worlders venture to the Hard Rock Cafe to see Brianna perform "What Is Love" with Alex Band. Though Brianna missed her chance to say goodbye to Joey, things are finally starting to look up for her music career as she has her first Hollywood moment.

Episode 10: 'In With The New'

Night falls on Hollywood and, with Greg and Joey out of the picture, the prospect of new Real World roommates is on everyone's minds. Brianna and Kimberly discuss their hopes for the new roomies, musing about the possibility of a really wild girl coming in and hooking up with all the guys. They think Dave is desperate enough to indulge, but Kimberly insists that she won't let Will cheat on his new gal pal, The Real World: Key West's Janelle. Meanwhile, inside the house, Janelle wonders how Will and Dave will handle two "random people" coming into their space. Will decides to launch a preemptive strike against the new roommates, rubbing his butt all over Greg's old pillowcases. Dave takes a slightly more rational approach, suggesting that he and Will should room together in case they don't like the new guys. Will agrees, and then takes Janelle out for a night on the town. After their date, Will admits that he's completely fallen for Janelle. The next day, Will gets a call from Janelle, inviting him and Dave to the Saddle Ranch bar to hang out with some of her Real World/Road Rules friends. At the bar, Dave and Will meet Evan, Kenny, Ace and Paula, and, despite having a show later that night, Dave throws back a few drinks with his new pals. Before the show, it becomes clear to the other Real World roommates that Dave's inebriation will be an issue. Dave assures Will that he's fine, adding that he will probably be better because he is wasted. Will isn't convinced, and neither is anyone else. They are all surprised that someone who cares about improv as much as Dave would do something so reckless. The night starts off smooth, but when a drunken Dave takes center stage and starts acting loopy, the confused audience starts to lose interest. Fortunately, the gang is able to get through the performance thanks to their improv training. After the show, Dave admits his mistake, apologizes and swears that it will never happen again. The next evening, the roommates decide that they should pull some pranks on the incoming newbies. After a brief brainstorming session, they decide to fake being in a huge fight. Unfortunately, the plan doesn't work out and The Real Worlders greet their first new roommate, Nick, very cordially. As Dave leads Nick through the house, Nick reveals that he's in Hollywood because he wants to be a TV host. Overhearing the conversation, Kimberly shares a quick bonding moment with Nick over their similar interests. Then, convinced that Nick will be a much more agreeable roommate than Greg, everyone decides to toast to new beginnings. Just as things start to settle down, another new roommate arrives: Brittini. As she checks out the room she'll be sharing with Nick, the ever-mature Will strolls through with his underwear pulled up his butt crack. Brittini is amused and goes running after Will to get a better look. After the thrill of the chase wears off, she tells the group that she is a model and has a new boyfriend. Wonder how long that will last... The night is young when the new roommates hit the town for their first taste of Hollywood. As the rest of the roommates party together, Will and Janelle enjoy some alone time at the house. Later that night, Will gets a call from Janelle. She just saw Nick walking home with two hot chicks! Dave is excited about the prowess displayed by his new friend, but his excitement doesn't last long. When Will and Dave hear the clack of the front gate, they turn to see an all too familiar sight -- Reva and Shaelee. Nick joins Dave and Will near the hot tub with "regulars" Reva and Shaelee. When the girls get up to go inside, Will informs Nick that he's brought home Greg's and Joey's "leftovers," and the new roommate is pretty embarrassed. As the night winds down, Nick leads Shaelee and Reva to the front gate, struggling to get them to go home. Talk about clingy! The next day, all The Real Worlders head to iO West for improv class. Nick and Brittini fall into line like seasoned pros and Charna can't hide her delight at what quick studies they are. To celebrate, the roomies head out for some drinks. Throughout the night, sparks fly between Will and Brittini. Brianna stands idly by, watching them flirt, but when she and Brittini decide to head back to the house together, she probes for information. Brittini admits that if she didn't have a boyfriend she would be all over Will. The flirt-fest between Brittini and Will continues back at the house, but when the night draws to a close, the other girls confront Will about not messing things up with Janelle. He denies that he has feelings for Brittini, but they are far from convinced. Dave heads to the iO West theater to host a show for the first time. Though he's nervous, he manages to pull himself together and does a great job. After the show, he gets compliments from both Kimberly and boss James. Having rallied back from his drunken debacle, Dave is feelin' good. Later, Brittini and Will hit the clubs for another night of "harmless" flirting. As they head back to The Real World house, Brittini stops Will on the sidewalk to discuss what's been going on between them. Will rants at Brittini about how disrespectful it is to flirt with another girl's man, but Brittini says she just wants be friends and thinks everything should be fine as long as nothing happens between them. Of course, the tension doesn't end there, and the two retreat to the confessional to really hash things out. When Will says that Brittini will never be as important to him as Janelle is, Brittini has heard enough. She storms off, which is fine with Will, who plans to distance himself from her as much as possible. The next morning, Brittini gives the other girls the full report. They aren't surprised to learn that Will hasn't been completely honest about his level of involvement in the flirting. When Will gives Nick his version of the breakdown, Nick agrees that it's probably best if he stays faithful to Janelle. Dave, still riding the high from his successful hosting gig, gets the opportunity to do another hosting session for his friend's comedy tour. The night is a success, and Dave even manages to sneak in a few jokes of his own, getting a great response from the crowd. The next time Janelle visits the house, she and Will can't keep their hands off each other while Brittini does her best to ignore them. But the real question is: how long can Will ignore her?

    Episode 11: 'Making It'

Still riding the high from her successful gig with The Calling's Alex Band, Brianna receives a surprise phone call at The Real World house. It's Alex! He wants to know if she would be interested in coming into the studio to add her vocals to his album. Hm ... she'll really have to think about that now, won't she? Yeah, right! An ecstatic Brianna arrives at the recording studio, but the music Alex Band wants her to sing isn't really her style, and her enthusiasm wanes. While she appreciates everything Alex has done for her and the opportunity he is giving her, she vows not to forget that she came to Hollywood to do her own thing. Out at a club, Nick turns on the charm and picks up a girl, bringing her back to the house. It's 3 a.m., and the rest of The Real Worlders are upset by Nick and his lady-friend's inconsiderate noisemaking. Is Nick turning out to be Greg 2.0? At the iO West the next morning, Sarah complains to Charna about Nick's late-night romp. Charna tells Nick that onstage camaraderie can't be faked, so he had better show his housemates some respect. Drama aside, Charna has good news for Nick, Sarah and Kimberly -- she has secured them all internships at Movies.com. The next day, Nick, Sarah and Kimberly meet Brandon, a producer and web host for Movies.com. After listening to some advice from their new boss, the interns dive right in and start practicing for their chance to be an on-camera host. Back at The Real World house, Brianna sings for Tomas, a music producer. Tomas digs her sound, and agrees to help her record a demo. That night, Sarah and Kimberly head out -- without Nick -- to the theater where they will be interviewing moviegoers for Movies.com. When he realizes they left without him, Nick doesn't seem too broken up. Later, the interns get their chance to conduct live interviews. Sarah struggles, blaming her interviewees for being boring. On the other hand, Nick and Kimberly hit their strides right away and really shine in their new roles. After watching their interviews, Brandon reveals to Kimberly, Nick and Sarah that he has cancer and is going to New York City to do a cancer-awareness commercial. Then, he takes Nick aside and compliments him on a job well done, saying he has high hopes for Nick's future. While Brianna gives everyone in the studio goose bumps as she records her demo, Sarah heads across town to talk to Charna about her disappointing experience at Movies.com. During their chat, Charna tells Sarah about another gig at think.mtv.com. When Sarah meets think.mtv.com's Pete Griffith, he asks her to work as a correspondent and create a story for the site about a new eco-friendly gas station in the area. She's thrilled! It's just the sort of journalism she wanted to do in the first place. Excited to make up for her Movies.com let down, Sarah drafts Will as her associate producer so he can help her with the project. Feeling good, The Real World women all hit the town to celebrate their new successes. Brianna gets the party started with a round of shots, but as the hours pass, drunken jubilation turns into a roadside puking session for Sarah. The vomit marathon continues back at Studio 20. But while Kimberly and Brianna hold back Sarah's hair so it doesn't get covered in spew, all Nick wants to do is document the occasion by taking pictures. However, the girls are in no mood for his shenanigans, angrily telling him to leave. Their rudeness prompts Nick to reconsider his drama-neutrality policy. As he discusses things with the other guys, Sarah stumbles in and embarrassingly drunk dials her boyfriend, Ryan. Most of the house enjoys a laugh at her expense, believing that she deserves it for lecturing them about partying too hard. The next morning, Nick tells Dave that his "ammo has been lit" after the anti-photography incident. Nick confronts Sarah about being a poser and just acting like she likes him. Sarah, baffled and completely hung over, has no idea what to say and Nick winds up storming off. Things get worse for Sarah when she calls Pete Griffith, who is worried that he hasn't seen her script yet. So, battling the worst hangover of her life, Sarah must write her script within the next four hours. Will is confident that she can get it done, after all, he is her associate producer. Meanwhile, Brianna and Kimberly listen to Brianna's demo at the studio. The aspiring singer is moved to tears because she is so happy. The tears continue back at The Real World house, where Brianna tells Kimberly how much she owes her family, especially her mom who always worked the grind for her. On the day of her shoot, Sarah goes to the BP Helios House and talks with Heather, a Helios Green Team Member. She gets a tour of the green-minded gas station, and it looks like she's got some quality footage. When Nick calls to catch up with Movie.com's Brandon, he gets some unexpected news -- Brandon has been hospitalized. Fortunately, though, Brandon has some good news for Nick -- he wants to help Nick kick-start his career. Sarah finishes editing her piece for think.mtv.com and is pleased with the results. Finally in a better mood, she talks to Nick about their issues. The talk goes pretty well and, despite still thinking Sarah is a poser, Nick hopes they can put that night behind them. Of course, he still wants to keep his distance whenever possible. Later, Brandon's assistant, Carson, calls Nick to tell him that Brandon passed away. Before he died, Brandon told Carson about the potential he saw in Nick, so Carson wants to work with him. Nick is too stricken with grief to be happy about the opportunity, but he agrees to meet with Carson. Although both Kimberly and Sarah are devastated when they hear the news, Nick is clearly the one most affected by Brandon's death. Still drying his tears, Nick heads to The Real World confessional where he vows to keep pushing to "bring the Nick flavor," just like Brandon would have wanted.

    Episode 12: 'Mexi-Loco'

The Real Worlders are in for a surprise at the iO West when Charna informs them that they will not be having improv class for a week. It seems like bad news until they find out the reason for the cancellation -- they're going to Cancun, Mexico! The roommates are ecstatic about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity provided by StudentCity.com, and retreat back to the house to talk about everything they want to do on the trip. They know it's going to be crazy -- so crazy, in fact, that they think Dave will wind up in a Mexican jail! After celebrating the news at a club, Dave passes out on the bathroom floor. Will and Brittini are not about to let such a golden opportunity slip by, so they "antique" Dave by throwing handfuls of pancake mix at their unconscious friend. When a still-drunk Dave wakes to find himself covered in white powder, he's understandably confused. Satisfied with the prank, Will and Brittini hunker down in a bedroom to talk about their complicated "friendship." Although Will tells her he doesn't want to mess things up with Janelle, Brittini is excited that he's going to be separated from his girlfriend for a whole week in Cancun. The next morning, Brittini calls her boyfriend, Jeremy, to tell him about the trip and learns that he is coming to visit Hollywood the day she returns. Will and Janelle dance at a club, working up Will's sexual appetite. However, when they return to The Real World house, Janelle leaves before they get a chance to get down and dirty. Feeling horny and abandoned, Will wonders if something could happen in Cancun. Nick warns will that if he hooks up with someone in the house there's "no coming back." Before leaving for their trip, Sarah and Will make a pact to stick together in an attempt to keep him faithful. Outside of the airport in Cancun, the gang meets Mayo, a Student City rep and their tour guide for the week. When he drops them at their hotel, everyone is in awe of the amazing suite and they pop some champagne to celebrate. Unsatisfied, Will and Dave decide they need more bubbles, so they fill the hot tub with suds and dive in. All lathered up, they turn the hallway into a soapy Slip 'N Slide. The next night, The Real Worlders go on a party cruise. The sticky night air, dirty dancing and free-flowing liquor make it a night of temptation for Will. After he and Brittini do a few body shots off each other, she seems to be feeling the urge as well. They sneak off to steal a kiss. But when they're caught in the act, they quickly regret the decision. Will is sure that Janelle will never speak to him again, and Brittini is worried that she's falling back into old habits. After swimming with dolphins the next day, Sarah gets serious with Brittini about her hookup with Will. She wants to know whether or not Brittini plans to tell her boyfriend, but Brittini is still unsure how to handle the situation. Will seems to be struggling with the same question; all he can do is restlessly fidget with his phone. Nick tells him to wait to talk to Janelle until they're back in Hollywood, not wanting his friend to make another hasty decision. After heading to Playa del Carmen and zip-lining through the jungles of Mexico, Brittini starts to notice that distancing herself from Will is making him gravitate toward Sarah. The pair is indeed spending a lot of time together, and Brittini comes to the realization that Will needs a girl at all times. That night, the "tres amigos" -- Dave, Will and Nick -- grab some drinks. When Dave invites two girls back to the suite, Will distances himself from the booty hunt and winds up calling Janelle. However, he hangs up without telling her about the kiss. The Real Worlders time in Cancun is truly one adventure after another as they go to a fancy restaurant for a classy sit-down dinner. However, things get heated when Sarah jokingly mentions the fact that Brianna has a warrant out for her arrest. Brianna blows up because she is sick of Kimberly and Sarah, who she calls "spoiled brats," always bringing up her troubled past. Everyone is embarrassed by Brianna's freak-out in such a nice restaurant. As she throws a fit, Kimberly and Sarah just laugh at her. As she walks off, Brianna vows not to talk to them anymore because she's afraid it might lead to a physical fight. Despite Brianna's meltdown, the next morning everyone acts like nothing happened. Overcome by guilt, Will writes Janelle an e-mail and calls to confess about his kiss with Brittini. He tries to downplay the situation, but Janelle isn't having it. As far as she's concerned, they have nothing else to talk about so she hangs up on him. Will tells Nick that although he feels horrible, he knows he did the right thing by coming clean. When Brittini finds out that Janelle broke up with Will because of their kiss, she gets even more nervous about telling her boyfriend about it. But as scared as she is, Brittini is still excited to head back to Hollywood and hang out with Jeremy. She swears to Will that she's going to tell Jeremy about the kiss. Back at Stage 20, Jeremy is at the house before Brittini can even unpack. After meeting the roommates, who all think Jeremy is one "gorgeous" and "super-cool" guy, Brittini and her boy head out. At a bar, Brittini has plenty of opportunities to make her confession, but she just can't work up the courage. Will calls Janelle again, and she rails on him for the unapologetic tone of his e-mail. He does his best to say he's sorry, but she says she's done with him. The normally charming Will fears that he won't be able to talk his way out of this one. The next night Will and Jeremy share a shot of Patron and toast to the good life while Brittini looks on. When Jeremy leaves The Real World house the next day, Brittini still hasn't fessed up. She says it's because she didn't want to ruin their time together. Dave is fed up with Will moping around the house, so he and Nick decide to cheer him up -- tres amigos style! They head out for drinks and dancing, but things get too crazy for Nick and he bails. During the taxi ride home, one of the girls that Dave and Will picked up mentions the possibility of a foursome. They immediately perk up at the thought of adding the illustrious achievement to their "dude resume." Sure enough, Dave and Will pile into one bedroom with the two girls to seal the deal back at Stage 20. When the other roommates realize what's going on, some of them decide to take a peek. When Dave and Will emerge from the bedroom, Dave calls the experience "sick on so many levels" and swears he'll never do it again. As much fun as he had the night before, Will starts having regrets when Janelle calls him and says she wants to talk. Face-to-face, Janelle confronts Will about what exactly he what was thinking in Cancun. When Will runs out of things to say, he goes to the bathroom to work up some fake tears. Will's teary-eyed pouting does the trick, and Janelle agrees to rekindle their relationship. As she wipes away his tears and gives him a hug, he smugly smiles behind her back.

    Episode 13: 'It's A Wrap'

The fact that the roommates only have a few more days left in Hollywood is at the front of all their minds; but that still does not stop them from enjoying the time they do have left together. Andy Dick and Charna go to Stage 20 and make dinner with all the roommates to celebrate their upcoming last show at the iO. The tone in the house has changed as all the Real Worlders start to get nervous about their time in Hollywood coming to an end. Back in Chicago, Joey works for a company called Fiber Drum where he mostly fixes steel cages. He has a new girlfriend, Malaine, who is very important to him because she supports his sobriety. Joey talks to his best friend, John, about missing his roommates, and while Hollywood was more stressful than he planned it to be, the question of whether or not he should have left still haunts him. Back in Hollywood, all the roommates, except Sarah and Kim, are enjoying one of their last nights out in Hollywood. Dave gets jumped unexpectedly, which results in a huge gash on his cheek. Dave makes a surprisingly calm decision to just walk away, however Will has another agenda. Will bolts for the guy who hit Dave and within seconds, the other roommates are all involved. As the brawl ends, the roommates, all unharmed,-except for Dave whose swollen check has now turned into a black eye-quickly walk away before the cops get there. At the iO the next day, Charna is surprised to see Dave's black eye. Yet, the improv must continue because it is their last class, and they are still struggling with their performance. While they all hope they can come together for their final show, some, like Kim, are more doubtful than others. Joey calls the house and talks to Will. He tells Will that he has been sober but is still distressed about whether or not he made the right decision leaving them all in Hollywood. Will, although he was more than excited to hear from Joey, reminds him of the convincing reasons why he went home. Charna tells Nick, Sarah, and Kim that they all have an informational job interview with Entertainment Tonight with the anchorman, Kevin Fraizer. While all three can't believe the opportunity presented to them, for Kim this is especially exciting because this is exactly what she wants to do. Back in Chicago, Charna invites Joey to the iO Chicago to see her. When Joey comes to see her, Charna makes sure he's staying clean and encourages Joey to get back involved with improv and put himself in a creative environment. She also invites Joey to come out to Hollywood so he can be there to support the roommates for their final show. Joey immediately calls the house and when Will picks up, Joey tells him that he's coming to Hollywood to see their final performance! Brianna goes to L.A. Models, where she meets with James, the director of the agency, to try and get another modeling contract. After watching her strut her stuff, James tells her that her walk needs work and she could use more training, but because he sees potential in her he will give her card to the runway division for future work. Sarah, Kim, and Nick go to Paramount Studios, the real Stage 20, where they meet with host Kevin Frazier on the set of Entertainment Tonight. They are in for a surprise when he brings out Shana Moakler, an actress and former Miss USA, and tells them that they are all going to interview her one at a time. With little to no preparation, Sarah and Nick's interviews go relatively smoothly. However, Kim is tongue-tied and can barely get out the questions she wants to ask. She knows she fell flat on her face and her interview was humiliating-but at least she admits it with a smile on her face. While Brianna and Brittini commiserate about having to go home soon back at Stage 20, the boys don't have time to think about the end as they go to pick Joey up from the airport. Joey is excited to be back and knows he is definitely in a better state of mind. Back at the house, Kim tries to cover up Dave's black eye with some make-up to get him ready for their performance that night. Dave is determined to shine and make his Hollywood dream come true even despite his black eye. On their way to the iO, Joey, Will, and Nick go look for flowers that all the roommates can give to Charna. In a rush, Will doesn't think twice about stealing a pot of flowers he sees outside a store-as usual, never a dull moment! Joey reunites with all the other roommates at the iO on the night of their last performance together. During the show, the roommates work very well together on stage and the audience is in hysterics the entire time. Charna congratulates everyone after the show for working so well together and for a job well done. Janelle comes to congratulates Will after the show, and then they dip out together for some alone time. Joey gets back to Stage 20, and although he realizes that nothing has changed-the kitchen is still piled high with dirty dishes-his perception has changed and he appreciates it all much more. Joey says bye to the roommates, and he knows it is an experience he will never forget. In their final moments together, the roommates pack their boxes and look at pictures as they think back on their time in Hollywood. Finally, taxis come one by one to take each roommate home. Brittini is the first to go, and after some smiles, laughter, and definitely some tears as all the roommates say goodbye, Will and Brianna are the last two left. Not wasting any of their last moments at Stage 20, they run around the house touching everything they can. Janelle comes to pick Will up, and as he embarks on his next stage with Janelle, a taxi comes to pick up Brianna, who leaves Stage 20 thankful, like all her fellow Real Worlders, for everything and her unique experience in Hollywood.
