The Real World: Cancun is the twenty-second season of MTV's reality television series The Real World, which focuses on a group of diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras document their lives and interpersonal relationships. Cancun, Mexico was first announced as the location for the season on Jan 26, 2009. It is the fourth season of the series to be set outside the United States, after The Real World: London, The Real World: Paris, and The Real World: Sydney. Series co-creator Jonathan Murray explained the choice of Cancun, saying, "Cancun is a good one to do after Brooklyn, which was a more gritty environment." Primary production completed in April and was not affected by the swine flu outbreak in Mexico. Executive Producer Jim Johnston said, "We had stopped production before this thing reared its ugly head." The season premiered June 24, 2009-September 9, 2009.

Residence:

The cast stayed at the Cancun resort, ME Cancun,at Boulevard Kukulkan, km. 12 in Cancun, Mexico. The resort is located in the hotel zone between the Beach Palace and Park Royal Piramides resorts. Fifteen hotel rooms were converted into the cast's suite: eleven on the second floor, and four rooms on the third floor. Production Designer Chuck Aubrey used the hotel's signature furnishings to decorate the suite, along with the vivid colors that are typically used by the Real World production to adorn the residences. The suite, like all of the resort's other 418 rooms, features an ocean and sunset lagoon view. The suite is currently available to the public under the name SuiteMe

Assignment: The Cancun cast was assigned to work with Student City, an organization that helps visiting college students, helping to, as Jonathan Murray puts it, "give people a safe and fun vacation."

Ayiiia Elizarraras
D.O.B: March 12, 1987 (San Diego, California)
Biography '09: Ayiiia is a Hooters waitress and a model, she was the winner of a Real World campaign helped by her friends to have her on the season. She admits she has issues with guys due to her last boyfriend, whom she had gotten pregnant by and broke up with her a week before she had an abortion. Despite her boyfriend, Ryan, she admits she's not lesbian but enjoys making out with women, which she clearly becomes intimate with Jonna and Emilee on her season. She is not easily forgiving, and her candor is sometimes seen as vicious by her roommates, which makes living in the house difficult for her. She has a history of drug abuse and self-mutilation, the latter of which recurs in Episode 5, after repeatedly coming into conflict with various other members of the cast throughout the first several episodes, in particular Joey. In the season finale she and Joey reconcile and have sex.
Season Highlights: Having sex with Emilee, her threesome with Pat and Jonna, and reconciling with Joey by having sex with him.

Biography '09: Bronne is the resident comic. His high energy, lack of filter, and willingness to do anything for a laugh, make him the life of the party. Nicknamed "Wildcard" for his spontaneity, he will often get naked to just break up fights, or maybe just to show off the physique he gained while on the Penn State varsity boxing team. Although he struggles with boundaries and has a history of pissing off his roommates, behind his outrageous demeanor is a genuine and caring person who always has his friends' backs. His impulsive behavior definitely makes him the one to watch out for in Cancun, where the possibility for trouble awaits him. Oh, and he's the first roommate to make out with a woman old enough to be his mother's older sister.
Season Highlights: His drunken incident when he throws a fire extinguisher over the hotel balcony and later is evicted from the hotel.

Christian "CJ" Koegel

D.O.B.: November 12, 1984
Birthplace: Boca Raton, Florida
Biography '09: CJ is the All-American boy, the heartthrob you can take home to mother. A graduate of UMASS, he's currently an NFL free agent punter. He had a great showing recently at the punter tryouts in Las Vegas and is just waiting to hear if he's picked up by an NFL team. CJ says he would be a devout Christian if it weren't for his sexual drive. So how long will he and his girlfriend last once he's exposed to the temptations in Cancun? Not very. CJ takes pride in his hot body. His friends joke about all his hair and skin care products, not to mention how long it takes him to get ready for a night out.

Jasmine Reynaud

Biography '09: Don't be fooled by the small package. The five foot tall, ninety-five pound Jasmine has a lot to say and no problem saying it. But despite her hard edge, she wears her heart on her sleeve, leaving it in constant danger of being trampled. According to her friends, Jasmine has the absolute worst taste in men and always chooses unreliable players who treat her like dirt. And things are no different in Cancun. But this former competitive cheerleader thrives to be the center of attention, especially if other women are around, which creates an interesting dynamic among the female roommates, especially Jonna. And she loves to party, but in Cancun, the trick is knowing when to stop.

Will she find that in Cancun?

Jonna Danielle Mannion

Biography '09: Jonna is the roommate with the boyfriend back home. This multi-racial beauty swears from day one that she'll remain true, but how long before the temptations of Cancun get the better of her? The guys hope it doesn't take long. Jonna's had a rough life. When she was four, she was put into foster care and lived with a strict religious family. At nine she was adopted by her caseworker who kicked her out of the house when she was 18. Not one to let her past get the best of her, Jonna dreams of making people feel better about themselves by being a successful hairdresser. Jonna is trying to stay focused and shake her promiscuous past, but she can't help flirting, which turns on the guys in the house and pisses off the girls. But she doesn't much care. Her biggest struggle in Cancun will be keeping up her relationship back home; luckily Jonna has roommate Derek, her friend and co-worker from Tempe, to keep her in check.

But sometimes being the bad boy isn't so charming. Back home in Massachusetts he was expelled from two different high schools, and eventually dropped out all together. And he's had more than a few bouts with excessive drinking, which will eventually become a problem in Cancun. A guitar player in the pop punk band, Late Nite Wars, his dream is to make it in the world of music. He is passionate about the arts and spends his time drawing, tattooing, writing songs and poetry, and playing guitar. Oddly enough he's also a firm believer in alien takeover, and claims to have actually seen a UFO.
Season Highlights: Being fired and sent home for perpetually missing work.

Derek Chavez

Birthplace: Phoenix, Arizona
Biography '09: Derek is the resident nice guy...a friend to all. But watch out, he's not afraid to be brutally honest about anything and everything. But even so, all the roommates love him. He was raised in a small town by his grandmother, who he calls his mom, since she was there for him throughout his entire life. Through it all Derek became an overachiever. In high school, he was president of the student council, captain of the basketball and track teams, and valedictorian of his graduating class. He is openly gay and loves the single life, claiming he's too young to be committed to anyone, although he does have ex-boyfriend baggage that seems to follow him around....even to Cancun. Derek is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Arizona State University and ultimately wants to be a physician's assistant. This rarely happens on "The Real World," but Derek has the benefit of already knowing one of the roommates. He and Jonna work together at a bar in Tempe.

Episode 1: 'Yes We Cancun!'

Eight strangers move into their ME Suite in Cancun, Mexico and get to know each other. CJ seems to be the heartthrob of the house, but after snuggling with Emilee, his previous relationship comes to an end. Joey is quick to sow his wild Cancun oats and hooks up with a local girl. Not to be outdone, Bronne makes out with the local girl's mom! A lovesick Jonna misses her boyfriend terribly.

Jonna and her boyfriend are confident they can make their relationship work, even though she's headed to 'The Real World Cancun' house in Mexico.

CJ greets his new roommate Emilee warmly and the pair quickly discover they have several friends in common.

Jonna arrives from Arizona with her coworker and new 'Real World' roommate, Derek.

The eight roommates feel an immediate bond and vow to stay true to each other throughout this entire experience.

Ayiiia and Jasmine squeal as the first to enter their swank penthouse at the ME hotel.

Jasmine, Ayiiia and Derek wave hello to the ocean view off their balcony.

Emilee, Jasmine, Ayiiia and Jonna use their first confessional to discuss the hotness of the guy roommates.

Even with all the male temptation, Jonna is certain she'll stay true to Matt – and even got a "promise piercing" to show her fidelity.

Ayiiia and the other roommates take a dip in the ocean.

Emilee gets annoyed when Joey starts making fun of her job at Hooters.

Joey pre-games too much at the hotel and has to be put to bed before the roommates make it out on their first night.

CJ finds himself taking care of yet another roommate when Bronne pukes on him at Senor Frogs.

Joey breaks the bank to buy a mannequin head with braids from a Mexican lady on the beach.

Joey feels an immediate connection with Courtnee and ends up making out with her at the club...

...only to look over and realize that Bronne is making out with her mom!

Ayiiia and Jasmine listen in on Joey and Courtnee, eventually sneaking into the room to get a better look.

Joey is impressed when he learns about Ayiiia and Jasmine's snooping, wishing he had known so he could have sneaked them a high-five.

When CJ tells his girlfriend that he slept in Emilee's bed (since Joey was hooking up in their room), she decides not to come visit him in Cancun.

CJ gets braids after ending things with his girlfriend, deciding to show a less guarded side of himself now that he's single.

Emilee gets frustrated when the guys think it's funny that she's upset CJ and his girlfriend broke up after he slept in her bed.

Episode 2: ‘Jerkface Joes And Romeos’

Tensions rise as Joey spits on Ayiiia's food and Ayiiia, Emilee and Jasmine ruin his guitar retaliation. Joey finally decides to bury the hatchet and apologize, but Ayiiia is unrepentant. Newly single, CJ now sets his sights on Jonna, but when CJ tries to kiss Jonna does she realize things have gotten out of hand. The cast meet their new boss and are surprised to learn the rules of employment.

CJ enters a hot body contest in Cancun....naturally, he wins.

Jonna and CJ develop a flirtatious friendship, with Jonna promising that, were she to makeout with anyone besides her boyfriend, it would be CJ.

Ayiiia and Joey's personalities start to clash so badly that Ayiiia won't even allow Joey to light her cigarette.

The roommates meet with their new boss, who quickly lays down the rules: no entering contests, no hooking up with clients and not appearing drunk in public – even off the clock.

Taking notice of Jonna and CJ's snuggle habits, Bronne decides to prank CJ by dressing up like Jonna.

CJ snuggles up to Bronne and even sniffs him before realizing that he's indeed not Jonna.

Jonna and CJ continue to bond, getting matching bracelets and holding hands through the market.

Joey's roommates are all impressed with his band's CD – except for Ayiiia, who complains about it being too loud.

When the roommates go to have one-on-one interviews with their boss, Ayiiia is the only one who complains about the strict no-partying rules.

After a fight where Ayiiia accuses Joey of having herpes, Joey retaliates by spitting in Ayiiia's food.

Joey continues to taunt Ayiiia back at the house by playing mocking songs and refusing to stop, even when the girls douse him with water and ruin his guitar.

Derek gets involved, telling Ayiiia, Jasmine and Emilee that they were out of line to wreck a thousand dollar guitar over tacos.

After a talk with his mom, Joey realizes that he too was out of line and clears the air with Emilee.

CJ tries to kiss Jonna after a drunken night of flirting and dancing together.

Matt expresses concern that Jonna's going to fall for CJ and Jonna decides to cool off on the flirting and snuggling.

Joey and Ayiiia agree to work harder at staying civil with each other and even team up to pull a prank on the other roommates.

Episode 3:‘I Kissed A Girl And I Liked It (At First)’

Having bonded over their fight with Joey, Emilee and Ayiiia end up having sex. Later, however, when Ayiiia refuses to back Emilee during a fight with the boys, Emilee's feelings for Ayiiia change. Soon, all the roommates realize Ayiiia is the common denominator to all the drama in the house and give her the cold shoulder. Meanwhile, avoiding the drama, the boys become closer buds as they head out for a series of "boys night out."

Jonna styles CJ and Bronne's hair, fueling the divide between her and the other girls because of Jonna's closeness with the boys in the house.

Bronne and the others spend a bunch of time trying to find Ayiiia at the end of the night. Instead of being appreciative, Ayiiia is snappy with everyone once she's finally found outside.

Ayiiia gets frustrated with Jonna and Joey for not helping her and Jasmine clean up the penthouse.

Jonna joins the boys for dinner, admitting how isolated she feels from the other girls and all their drama.

Ayiiia "disinvites" Jonna from the planned girls night out with Emilee and Jasmine.

After returning home from their night of partying, Emilee and Ayiiia admit that they have crushes on each other.

Things get heated when Ayiiia has a "girls sleepover" with Emilee.

Ayiiia admits that she went further with Emilee than she'd ever gone with a girl before.

Derek helps Bronne get "gayed out" for a night at the gay bar.

Derek and Bronne end up passed out on the floor – even though they have their first day of work early that morning.

Frustrated that the boys blew her and Jasmine off the night before and that the guys are still drunk that morning, Emilee loses her cool and screams at all of them.

The roommates head to Isla Mujeres to feed sharks, swim with dolphins and seals and go zip-lining with Student City.

After sitting out most of the day, Emilee realizes that she may have overreacted and needs to apologize.

Emilee and Jasmine apologize to the guys (and later Jonna) for their dramatic behavior. The guys appreciate the gesture and point out that Ayiiia's been responsible for most of the drama in the house.

Jasmine eventually blows up at Ayiiia when Ayiiia continues to accuse her of "having attitude" with her lately.

CJ, Derek and Joey celebrate after Derek narrowly avoids being arrested for peeing in the bushes during their boys night out.

Ayiiia snoops on Jasmine and Emilee as they vent about how Ayiiia's been causing drama lately.

When pushed by Ayiiia, Emilee tells her that no one in the house likes her, prompting Ayiiia to insult Emilee for being adopted.

Episode 4: ‘Cancun Cassanovas’

Romance is everywhere in the Real World house. When his ex shows up unexpectedly, Derek realizes that it's over, and it isn't long before he's found someone much better. Joey's going for conquest number two, while CJ is jilted by a beautiful local. Jasmine determines to make Pat, a StudentCity boss, her own personal project.

Much to Emilee's surprise, Ayiiia apologizes for some of the things she said during their fight.

The roommates head to a Student City "Meet and Greet" session, where they're again reminded of the company's strict no drinking and no fraternizing with spring breakers policies.

Jasmine finds herself enamored with their boss Christina's assistant, Pat.

Derek's ex Kyle invites himself down to Cancun to visit...unfortunately, he ends up going home with another guy in front of Derek and the other roommates.

Even though Kyle cries and apologizes, Derek tells him he doesn't want to see him again.

Derek and his roommates head out on the town to celebrate his twenty-first birthday in style.

After Derek parties a little too hard, the other roommates have to carry him back to the penthouse so he can pass out in the lobby.

The roommates celebrate when CJ's crush agrees to a date after he sends her a note asking her out.

Joey and his latest interest join CJ and Jacqueline for a double date at a steakhouse.

While CJ plays the gentleman and ends his date with a goodbye kiss, Joey invites his date to spend the night in his bed.

Bronne strikes a pose after getting decked out in Student City gear for their first day of orientation.

Joey grieves after learning that his nana has died and he'll have to return home to Florida for her funeral.

Jasmine is thrilled when she runs into Pat during a night out partying.

Derek ignores the rules against hooking up with Student City travelers to spend the night with his newest crush, Tyler.

After seeing CJ flirting with other girls, Jacqueline decides to call things off and ends up insulting Bronne's figure in the process.

Derek and Tyler must say goodbye after spending several days together, agreeing that they hope this fling will turn into something more serious.

Bronne welcomes Joey back with a couple beers at the airport.

Episode 5: ‘Payback, Piglets and Projects’

Joey returns home from his grandmother's funeral, launching a "Send Ayiiia Home" campaign even after he learns she has resorted to cutting herself. Jasmine continues to get closer to Pat until she finds out he might have slept with CJ's girl, Amanda, but ultimately decides she isn't ready to give up the romance.

Ayiiia gets the inspirational words "Live And Learn" tattooed on her back.

The roommates head with their other Student City coworkers to the tropical paradise of Xelha.

CJ uses the opportunity to flirt with his newest crush, Amanda.

Meanwhile, Pat convinces Jasmine to dive off the cliffs with him despite her feat of heights.

CJ takes Amanda back to the house, but their romantic evening is interrupted when a drunken Emilee stumbles into the room and laughs about CJ being naked.

When Ayiiia gets involved in the fight between CJ and Emilee, it turns into an all-out screaming match with Joey and CJ telling Ayiiia that no one likes her.

Feeling unfairly attacked by the boys, Ayiiia cries to Emilee and Jonna about it.

Jonna walks in on Ayiiia cutting herself in the bathroom but promises not to tell the other roommates about it.

Emilee and Jasmine are concerned when Ayiiia refuses to take any responsibility for her issues with the boys – and even more concerned when they notices the cuts on her arms.

Jasmine's date with Pat is spoiled when he gets a text from Amanda and ends the night with a high-five instead of a kiss. Even worse, Joey later informs Jasmine that there's rumors about Amanda and Pat having hooked up.

After CJ reassures her that Pat and Amanda never slept together, Jasmine decides Pat's worth taking a risk on.

Joey crosses a line with his campaign to make Ayiiia go home by posting signs about her cutting herself all over the house.

Joey finally pushes Ayiiia over the edge and she smashes through a glass door, injuring herself in the process.

Jasmine attempts to comfort Ayiiia as Joey continues to mock her in the background.

After being late to work because of the theatrics the night before, Emilee promises Ayiiia that she's there for her and Ayiiia decides to be the stronger person and stick things out in the house.

Episode 6: 'Flirting With Disaster'

Jonna eagerly awaits her boyfriend Matt's visit to Cancun, but when Matt's insecurities get the best of him, Jonna finds herself spending some quality time with another guy. Joey's party-lifestyle interferes with work obligations at StudentCity and his irresponsibility nearly cuts his time in Cancun short.

CJ and Bronne work a "booty-shaking" contest for Student City.

Even though he has to work that night, Joey decides to get hammered at the event and just take a nap before his shift.

Joey makes the mistake of returning home wasted and with a random girl he's picked up – even though his Student City captain is back at the penthouse.

After a long day of partying, Joey doesn't feel so hot and decides to skip out on his shift at work without calling any of his bosses.

The next day, Joey gets chewed out privately and in front of the rest of the staff for skipping work and is warned that he may be sent home because of it.

Jonna is thrilled when her boyfriend Matt arrives in Cancun.

Derek and Ayiiia make fun of how much Jonna and Matt kiss each other.

Matt ends up getting along really well with all of the roommates.

Jonna decides to tell Matt about CJ trying to kiss her, causing Matt to worry more about her ability to stay faithful.

Matt gets tearful when he has to say goodbye after his four day stay in Cancun.

Although they left on good terms, Jonna gets frustrated when she calls Matt and again has to listen to his concerns about her falling for another guy.

Jonna has a platonic cuddle-session on the hammock with her new friend Kirk.

When Joey tries to find out his status with Student City, Christina insists on having a private conversation the next day to talk about it.

Even though nothing happened, Jonna regrets inviting Kirk to stay the night after a long night of drinking in the hot tub.

Bronne offers Jonna relationship advice, pointing out that Matt's probably concerned because she's such a flirtatious girl.

Joey has a video conference with Christina, who decides to let him keep his job but puts him on a strict probation.

CJ and Jasmine celebrate the fact that Joey gets to stay in Cancun.

Episode 7: 'Peak Week'

It's Peak Week and the party atmosphere is in full force, and the roommates are assigned to manage the band LMFAO for StudentCity. After getting a second chance with Student City, Joey is seduced by the thrill ride of Cancun and sent home. Jasmine puts the moves on Pat, but grows more insecure as his attention wanders to Jonna. .

Jasmine plans to have sex with Pat, telling him that she has a surprise in store for later that night.

Bronne meets a Playboy model named Vicky and brings her back to the penthouse.

Unfortunately for Jasmine, all she gets out of Pat is a kiss because he claims he wants to get to know her better before taking things any further.

Bronne is thrilled to wake up with a hot girl in his bed – although Derek isn't so happy that they hooked up while he was in the room

Bronne gives Joey permission to "poach" the second Playboy model he's met on the condition that Joey seals the deal within twenty-four hours.

The roommates are put in charge of putting together a special Student City LMFAO concert.

The boys are surprised when Emilee manages to steal Amber, the Playboy model Joey stole from Bronne.

Pat again spurns Jasmine's advances, leading Jasmine to have a huge meltdown later that night.

Jealousies arise when Jonna befriends Pat, first cutting his hair and later getting flirtatious with him out at a club.

After a second successful concert, the guys of LMFAO come back to party with the roommates.

Unfortunately, CJ sleeps through his alarm the next morning and doesn't wake Joey up for his morning shift with Student City.

Joey and Bronne are shocked when Christina not only fires Joey for missing his shift, but says he has to leave Cancun that same day.

Joey says an emotional goodbye to CJ, Emilee and Derek before heading to the airport.

While Jasmine and Jonna are incredibly upset that they didn't even get to say goodbye to Joey, Ayiiia couldn't be happier to see him go.

Episode 8: 'Setting DIF-ferences'

When she is rejected by Pat, a devastated Jasmine turns to alcohol to cope with her emotions as Jonna and Pat get close. The roommates raise money to help DIF, a local Cancun children's charity, while missing their newly departed Joey.

The roommates wear "pro-Joey" apparel during their next meeting with Christina – except Ayiiia, who's still thrilled that Joey's gone.

Jasmine goes on an emotional drinking binge after feeling rejected by Pat.

Jasmine insults Emilee about her use of ADHD medication after Emilee tries to get her to stop drinking.

Still drunk and upset with her roommates, Jasmine convinces Pat to come over to comfort her.

Jasmine attempts to apologize after allowing everyone to oversleep the next day, causing them to be late for work and get in trouble with Christina.

The roommates put aside their drama to go visit the DIF children's charity.

Seeing all the children in need really hits a nerve with Derek, Emilee and Jonna, who were all adopted as well.

Emilee and Jasmine talk about the fight and decide to put it behind them.

The roommates host a Mardi Gras party for DIF and end up raising eleven thousand dollars for the charity.

Even though she's supposed to find out how Pat feels about Jasmine, Jonna ends up realizing how much she enjoys spending time with him when they go out to dinner.

Bronne has a blast picking out toys at Costco for the DIF kids.

The real reward comes when the roommates get to present all the kids with presents and other necessities for their home.

Everyone agrees that working with DIF was a life-changing experience.

Jasmine gets upset when Jonna and Pat flirt in front of her.

Jasmine again turns to alcohol to cope and ends up having a massive tantrum and breakdown back at the house.

After talking to friends from home, Jasmine decides she needs to cut back on drinking and Pat.

Episode 9: 'The Love Square'

As Jasmine hooks up with a new interest, JR, to make Pat jealous, she inadvertently drives Jonna and Pat closer together. Ultimately, Jonna breaks up with her boyfriend, Matt, and brings Pat into her bed. After an incident with a fire extinguisher, Bronne is banished from the ME Hotel.

After rigging up a "booby-trap" for his roommates, Bronne goes after some spring breakers with his watergun.

Bronne takes things too far when he drunkenly launches a fire extinguisher off the balcony and into the ME pool – and gets caught by a security guard.

The antics with the fire extinguisher gets Bronne kicked out of the ME Hotel. Fortunately, he's able to move in with the rest of the Student City staff and stay in Cancun.

Jasmine gets coy about the fact that she's going on a date with Pat's cousin JR.

Jonna meets with Pat for drinks and both joke about how Jasmine's date is just a cry for Pat's attention.

Ayiiia and the other roommates quickly grow tired of the "love square" going on between Jonna, Pat, Jasmine and JR.

Derek and CJ join Bronne for his last confessional as an official roommate in the penthouse.

Jonna admits to Matt that she's having second thoughts about how quickly their relationship is moving.

On his first night at the new hotel, Bronne gets locked out and has to spend the night in a hammock.

Jonna and Pat are not thrilled to watch the PDA going on between JR and Jasmine in the penthouse.

Even though she had JR spend the night too, Jasmine is upset when she sees Pat's shoes in the morning and realizes that he's slept over with Jonna.

Bronne stops by the ME to visit his old roommates – and grab a shower too.

Jasmine finally has sex in Cancun, deciding that her feelings for JR are real and not just a ploy to make Pat jealous.

Jonna comes clean to Matt about Pat and the other guys she's flirted with in Cancun, admitting that she's decided she's too young to be in a long distance relationship.

Although she's not completely certain she's made the right decision, Jonna still invites Pat over to spend the night.

Episode 10: 'Three's a Crowd'

Jonna is left confused about her future after her breakup with Matt. When Ayiiia begins to miss her unsteady boyfriend Ryan, she sets her sights on Jonna, leading to a threesome between Pat, Jonna, and Ayiiia. Tension rises between Jonna and Emilee over Jonna keeping the threesome a secret from her best roomie, while Ayiiia worries about the repercussions the threesome will have on her loved ones. Meanwhile, Jonna and Jasmine reconcile.

Jasmine and Jonna finally talk out their issues over the Pat situation.

Jonna is upset when Matt tells her that she's lost her soul and that he's stopped eating, sleeping and caring about living since she broke up with him.

After the conversation with Matt, Jonna decides it's time to take down all her pictures of him.

While her friends are in town for a visit, Ayiiia tells them about her crush on Jonna and makes a bet that she'll hook up with Jonna in the near future.

Emilee serves as referee during a very awkward dinner date between Jasmine, JR, Jonna and Pat where Pat and Jasmine trade snide insults.

Pat tells Ayiiia she needs to share when he catches her kissing Jonna.

With Pat's time in Cancun coming to an end soon, Jonna takes him into the confessional to show him how much she cares. Ayiiia overhears them...

...and the three of them end up moving things back to Jonna's bed for a threesome.

The next morning, Ayiiia and Jonna agree not to tell anyone about their drunken antics even though it means Jonna will have to lie to Emilee about it.

Jonna and Jasmine say goodbye to Pat and JR when the boys have to head back to Canada.

Emilee is both hurt and disgusted when Derek tells her that the threesome between Jonna, Pat and Ayiiia took place...while she was sleeping next to them.

After talking to Derek, Jonna realizes her tryst with Ayiiia will not remain a secret for long

Ayiiia comes clean to Jasmine about the three-way. Jasmine's fine with it, although she's not thrilled that Ayiiia chose to tell her at a hookah bar!

When Jonna talks to Emilee about the threesome, Emilee questions whether Jonna really wants to be with a guy who's hooked up with three of the four girl roommates.

Ayiiia tells her boyfriend about hooking up with Jonna and Pat and realizes that her entire family will see her actions on television. She gets emotional when talking to Jasmine about how her family judges her bi-curious nature.

Jonna sends Pat a long email about the state of her relationship and calls him to try and talk about it. However, Pat's out partying, so he hangs up without much of a goodbye.

Ayiiia and Jonna both realizes the repercussions of the threesome are going to be greater than they anticipated.

Episode 11: 'Love Bites'

CJ's dreams of playing pro football are threatened when he is thrown into a Mexican jail, but he ultimately makes his trip to Las Vegas for a NFL tryout where he lands a sports agent. Bitter that their trip to Playa Del Carmen wasn't nearly as luxurious as the boys' Vegas vacation, Emilee does a tap dance on Bronne's beloved Zombie magazines, destroying them and incurring Bronne's wrath. The girls become annoyed with Jonna as she seeks male attention, while Bronne and CJ play a prank on Joey by inventing an imaginary replacement roommate.

CJ takes some time off from partying to focus on his upcoming NFL tryout.

Emilee and the other girls are annoyed when Jonna seeks out attention from the guy Emilee's into.

CJ informs the guys that he's bringing them with to Vegas to cheer him on during the tryout.

Derek and CJ celebrate in the confessional after CJ punches out a guy on the bus for hassling Derek.

Much to the CJ's surprise, the guy they hit finds him out at the pool and calls the cops.

Although CJ was supposed to be locked up for thirty-six hours and miss his tryout, Bronne and Derek are able to scrounge up the money to bail him out.

The girls head to Playa Del Carmen for a girls' weekend, although Jonna seems more interested in meeting guys than bonding with the girls.

Bronne and Derek meet CJ in Vegas and are amazed at the luxury suite they have at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Bronne and Derek cheer on "dreamy" CJ to the point that he has to ask them to tone it down in front of the scouts.

CJ is able to buckle down for the tryout and lands an agent for the upcoming NFL draft.

The girls' frustration with Jonna's need for male attention increases when she spends the night out flirting and getting flowers from a suitor.

When everyone returns to Cancun, the guys can't stop bragging about how great their Vegas trip was.

The security camera catches Emilee tap dancing on Bronne's new zombie magazine out of jealousy over the boys' Vegas trip.

Bronne listens as CJ tells Joey more crazy stories about their new roommate "Lauren," who they both claim to have hooked up with.

After making a big to-do about her injured ankle, Jonna is shocked that the other girls aren't sympathetic to her cause.

Bronne tries to talk to the girls calmly about his destroyed magazine but ends up yelling at both Ayiiia and Emilee, comparing them both to Hitler.

When Jonna overhears the girls all gossiping about her, Jasmine takes her aside to talk to her about how her constant need for male attention isolates the other girls.

The roommates all reminisce about how different the house would be if Joey were still there...little do they know, he's just arrived in Cancun!

Episode 12: ‘¡Adios Cancun!’

The roommates are once again unified as Joey returns to the Real World house. After reconciling with Ayiiia, Joey sleeps with her, leaving Ayiiia guilt stricken for having cheated on her boyfriend, Ryan. The roommates celebrate their last days in Cancun, reminiscing about the good and bad times they've had in Mexico before they leave for home.

The roommates all embrace Joey, who's in Cancun for a surprise visit. Even Ayiiia and Joey make up, bonding over a mutual hatred of Lauren (the fake roommate the guys invented to prank Joey).

Joey notices an odd sexual chemistry between the girls of the Real World house, and vows to have his last Cancun hookup to be with one of his roomies.
